Review Central Station Pub - Kamloops

Super convenient location. Find that the service varies with the server. Some pretty good options for happy hour, some good drink specials, and the blazer burger menu is pretty good too. Unfortunately both times I’ve got the bacon cheeseburger they’ve forgotten the bacon part, and my partner found a hair in her burger which was exchanged for a new one by our server, but the burgers were pretty good for pub food. Overall it’s just a decent establishment in a great location that’s probably worth stopping by once in awhile.

We wanted to play pools have some beer so needed up at central station , from outside the restaurant has no OPEN sign , looks closed but open the grand door and u will see it’s open 😄. It was 5 :15 pm and the bar tender lady was already sulky n rude even though I asked what beer she recommends from the tap . Asked for bar menu to know the prices and was surly they don’t have the price menu , every drink is a surprise if you r new , I don’t like that ! Anyways I ordered a winter ale and was served in a big glass without asking which size I want . We ended up paying non Ed to the game room to play pool which is 1.25 a game no surprises on price 🤣. Beer temp was not great but bearable, we enjoyed the game away from the bar with unfriendly staff . To our surprise a server came in to the pool room to ask if we are doing okay for the drinks and we were pleased there is some guest service here and she recorded us the local IPA beer which we had as our second glass and she suggested we take the smaller glass as we are trying it ! Beer tasted awesome , undid the whole experience . That’s why I believe your staff can make lot of difference to the customer experience ! Well thank you and we enjoyed ! Rating could be better with experience .

Kind of curious how I never officially got laid off, just have heard radio silence for 2-3 months. Seeing if this will do anything. Anyways, my friend had the experience where you don't order a bunch of alcohol and get treated as a nuisance.

Great food at reasonable prices and awesome staff. Very friendly.

Revised - Was a great place until they fired Dawn. Will not go back '5 Stars' - Great place for drinks with friends. Dawn's pretty cool too.

Tried their breakfast special...old hasbrowns, cold toast...runny eggs.. Wobt be back. They have gone downhill sadly

Try the WTF burger. Its a killer!!! Pulled pork fried onions bacon cheese patty and to top it off a fried egg. I challenge you!

Cmon now?? This place has always been my favourite. No thugs, just good times. Met many longstanding friends there and more to come. The girls that run the place got it dialled!!! See you this weekend.

My daughter & friends had a terrible experience there tonight. Asked to leave because not all of them at the table were ordering alcohol, 2 of them don’t drink alcohol! They had already ordered & had their dinner there. The server, was snooty and already seating others before they had even completely vacated the table. I have been to The Central many many times in my years growing up in Kamloops, even back to the days when it was still a “working man’s” pub. Never have I heard of such APPALLING customer service!

Just arrived from Ireland last week,went in for some food and a beer and the service was awesome two very friendly and helpful Girls serving and really nice atmosphere so well done guys I’m coming back this week hopefully for some karaoke 🍀🍀🍀

Been here a couple times now. Great appies, live music sometimes, waitresses are awesome, and there's a pool table! 👍👍
