Review Sushi + - Kamloops

Great food and service, highly recommend especially if you’re into spicy! The items we ordered were actually spicy and everything was fresh (no fridge taste). The service was great - we’ll certainly be back and glad that Aberdeen has a good sushi spot!

BEST SUSHI IN TOWN! High quality, fresh ingredients, excellent service! Truly nothing to complain about here! If you’re looking for a place to dine in or takeout sushi in Kamloops this is the place!

Overall it was a very good experience. The food was good and the service was good as well. It was one of your typical sushi places. With some varieties of rolls and their own specials. There is nothing over-the-top about this Sushi establishment however it satisfies my tastes.

Really cozy , quick and friendly service with a smile . Nice traditional flavours and presentation . You can custom make your own sushi as we did with mango’s . Highly recommend this Japanese restaurant 😁. Keep up the great work and service

I was sceptical when I first saw this place, it was empty when we entered. However, after ordering their bento lunch set. I was like wow. The food was good. Each set had different combo. I have the beef don and it came with 1 large dumpling, 1large spring roll, 4 salmon sushi, 4 crab stick sushi, 1 serving of vege, 1 free soup and free flow green tea. And it all cost 15 bucks - 2 bucks discount = 13 bucks for all that. That's really something. Good price, good food but underrated. Try it!

I stopped by passing to Vancouver. I did not expect kamloops to have such a delicious sushi place. I am not much of seafood fan but the recommended crunchy munch menu was amazing. The food did not smell fish at all, it is very harmonious with crunchy toppings and sweet and little bit of spiciness. (I am really picky eater when it comes to seafood) but their dragon roll was flavourful. One of my best sushi place ever. Also my kids enjoyed yakisoba, tofu menu with pleasant presentation. 😍

The server was not very good. We ordered green tea but instead of telling us they didn't have that. He brought us their only tea, brown rice tea. We got the platter for 3 sushi. It was good colleagues enioyed it. The place was good price for sushi.

We had lunch here and both left not feeling well. The California rolls were served with brown and bruised avocado, the rice was mushy and the dishes were not clean. The beef in my stir fry tasted freezer burnt. We didn't finish our meals and we are never going back again. I would not recommend this place at all.

AWESOME FOOD. Definitely recommend the food and the service for sure. Every time we pass through Kamloops we stop by to either pick or eat in at the restaurant. This is the "go to place for Sushi in Kamloops".

Awful awful awful!!! The poor waitresses!! I was in there a month ago, on my lunch break, and saw that one of the servers accidentally split some sauce. As she was cleaning it up, I noticed the chef come out and started yelling at her! Not a professional way to conduct your business. I will not be returning, and the food wasn't that great.

Totally disappointing. We ordered over the phone and picked up. We had a long wait to get the food even thought the place was not at all busy. Our hotel was not a long drive from the restaurant, but when we cracked open all the containers the hot items were soggy and cold. We ordered Japanese calamari, ebi gyoza, and karaage chicken, which was nothing more than deep fried wings.
The sashimi( toro and salmon) was lukewarm.
We had 2 orders of rolls, spicy tuna, and house special roll, and they were pretty and well made, although not very flavourful.
For a total of 80 bucks, this meal was pretty disappointing. We are from the Yukon, and the Sakura Sushi in Whitehorse beats this place hands down for timely pick up orders as well as flavour and temperature. I'd venture to guess that even eat in meals at Sushi Plus won't come close to the excellent meals we've had at Sakura.
As a plus, the servers were friendly and expressed apologies for the long wait.
In fairness, we'd have to give this place an eat in try before saying we'd never eat here again.

My husband and I had lunch here today and it was terrific. The rolls were awesome. The waitress so nice and excellent prices. We will be back for sure! Try the Sweet Chili Ebi Roll. Excellent!!!
