Review Masons Kitchen & Bar - Kamloops

This was my third visit to Mason's and the first positive experience. My first experience I was seated and then no one visited the table for over 20 minutes so my party got up and left. The second visit was not super fantastic service wise.... however third time is the charm! I think the new ownership may have had some growing pains but our visit last night was excellent. Very prompt and pleasant service. Pasta night was super tasty and a great craft beer menu made the whole table happy. A robust and appealing menu has something everyone enjoyed.

Much better at Mason's today! Up to 5 stars now, May 11/22...thanks! Much better service today and met the owner and they gave me $25 off towards my total bill Food was good and beers even better! I wanted to also recommend this place like so many others but yesterday the wait on everything was off the charts. 1st to see anyone out on the patio took forever and then to just get the beer to arrive was so very long and even after the 1st wait on a beer and then again after being told that the Pilsner could not be changed cause the manager was setting up for music later and the new bartender did not know how. And... NO music out on patio! The patio set up is good to shield out the sun etc but with some music playing, waiting so very long would not have been noticed as much. Something to consider, yes? Then our food was way longer than it needed to be and this one other server was right on it but we did not get her as our host! ):

Just had our second experience here. The first time we waited close to 90 minutes for a simple pizza. There was maybe 6 other tables in the entire restaurant but their excuse was that they was slammed. Tonight we thought we would give it another go. An hour after ordering wings, we asked our server about them. She said the order was put through. 20 minutes later another server brought our cold wings out. We will NEVER return. They offered to comp our drinks and appy but we aren't looking for freebies. Just service. Avoid this place unless of course you are looking for cold food, poor service and wasted time

What a lovely Mother’s Day brunch this morning! As we came in, complimentary Mimosas, rose petals on the tables…what a nice touch! The food was soooo good, very impressed on my first visit. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Thank you for making a couple of us Moms very happy you ppl cooked for us, as well as our husbands and granddaughter. The food was delicious! We will return💐💐❤️ I was with the M. Perazic table. Our server even offered to take our pictures, which was very tghtful, and they turned out perfectly, and we now have memories to show!!! Thanks to everyone at Masons!!! You all went above and beyond! Pamela

Four of us enjoyed a delightful lunch on the patio here last Sunday (Jul 17th). Excellent service, very good food and a fantastic view. We could not find fault here.

Had a wonderful and relaxing brunch at Mason’s this past Sunday. Beautiful setting, wonderful service, and great food options from either the brunch or regular menus. Schnitzel bennie’s very tasty!

Bad service We came here for lunch and our service wasn’t great. We waited almost an hour for our food and no body came to check on us. Not even for a water refill. When our food finally came it wasn’t anything great. It was bland and tasteless. When we payed we didn’t give a huge tip, the waitresses were whispering to each other and making snarky remarks.

We had to leave after waiting 20 minutes we did not even get waited on for a drink order. Please if you are short staffed let your customers know prior to seating them, and if possible let them know wait times. Much nicer than being ignored
