Who would have thought that it's easier to find a gluten-free pannekoek in Kamloops than it is in Amsterdam? Amsterdam Restaurant serves up gluten-free waffles and dutch pancakes that are delicious and is everything you need to satisfy the sweet/savory craving. Service is fast and friendly.

Very much a family style restaurant. Staff are cheerful, quick and attentive. The popularity of the place means it's often packed and has a wait (which I see other reviewers have noted) but as soon as they have a spot for you they are ON it to get you in. The other week we were quoted 20 minutes but only waited five.
The meal selection, like the decor is broad and pleasant but unremarkable. That's not a criticism as such. This is the kind of place you could bring your kids, your picky friends, your aunt who finds pepper 'too spicy'. It's consistent. It's reliable. It's three stars.

Just left the best waffle crepe house in Kamloops. The waitress Paige was chippy and provided a terrific reccomendation that I must share. A generous plate sized crepe infused with Grand Marnier glazed banana and lightly toasted pecans surrounding creamy scoop of vanilla ice cream.would I go again? Hey I didn't want to even leave

I would like to thank all the people working there for being so cheerful, welcoming and pleasant! I went there for my friend’s birthday lunch. She got a free meal on her birthday. The waitresses were very nice and cheerful helped us plan a birthday surprise cake cutting for her. They sang happy birthday to her and brought candles for our cake. Food was awesome! Highly recommend this place for their great customer service, food.. breakfast!!! Huge shout out to all the waitresses working over there! Thank you once again!

Fantastic Breakfast Experience! Ordered the Salmon Benny and 3 of the kids meals. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, assisted in finding something everyone would like. All the meals were a hit! The Poffertjes were outstanding and are highly recommended! We shall return to the Amsterdam Restaurant in the near future as there are other Benedicts that I will have to try.

Great service. Good food. Not crazy about the hash brown. ( matter of taste ). Fairly good prices for what you get. Very busy place expect to wait for a table We did ( 10 minutes) not bad.
