Best restaurant in Jasper. This room has a Lodge atmosphere with excellent food. The osso bucco was so tender that it fell apart with a fork. For birthdays and anniversaries, they do a surprise dessert plate of assorted desserts. The caramel cheesecake was a standout! Excellent service.
Amongst the many tourists restaurants for dinner, we choose to eat here because we were staying at the Fairmont and wanted to have Alberta beef. The French onion soup was delicious. The prime rib (never frozen) was cooked well by chef! For desert, the coconut cheesecake with sorbet was a nice treat to the end of the meal. Our waiter, Carlos, was the star of our dining experience, always steering us well. Definitely ask for Carlos to be your waiter, he works year round. We were skeptical to dine here because of the limited reviews and because Jasper is very far away from everything. 4/5 stars because this is in a National Park- the stay/dining experience has a ceiling due the Park’s regulations/guidelines.
