Good fast service from Santina. I had the BLTC and hash browns. Quite enjoyed my quick cheap breakfast before I hit the road. Great family atmosphere as well. Thanks guys
Great start to the morning!! The staff was welcoming and the food was amazing. My friend and I went in hungry, we shared an Egg Benedict and Skillet ... we had left over and was glad to leave with a doggie bag.

My boyfriend and I went here for brunch and had mixed feelings. The service was great and the food was fast. Our drinks were great (the Moca Fino is a must!) but our mains were so-so. The salmon in my eggs Benedict was mushy and the hollaindaise sauce was sort of bland. My boyfriend scrambled eggs tasted a little strange. However those hash browns may be the best we've had in a while! For a quick, filling breakfast, this place is pretty good. But the quality is kind of hit or miss. This would be good "hangover food" for the partying crowd in Jasper

Gluten free AND delicious. Fantastic.From the moment we entered and asked about capacity for dealing with gluten-free meals to the kids meals desserts arriving, the staff and kitchen at Papa George's were outstanding. Not only a wonderful meal for the foodie (chicken breast with brie, lemon risotto, asparagus and blueberry reduction), but several flavorful selection for the Celiacs (not just plain, unsauced meat!) , GF bread on hand, and generous portions for the kids. This was our second , make that second annual, trip to this restaurant.
Lunch!. Superb game burger. But the real surprise was the risotto. I'll be back for both (but not at the same time - portions are big).

Great Breakfast. They have some nice options. The skillets came highly recommended but I was feeling something a little less daunting. We tried the daily special which rolled in under $7. The eggs were bang on, the hash browns were lightly seasoned and deep-fried, and so likely a frozen bag item, but they were great all the same. The bacon wasn't fresh, which was a little disappointing. The coffee was good and fresh.
On day two we went for the French toast with cinnamon apples and the eggs bennie. The French toast was great, crispy outside and a slightly chewy inside without being doughy. The apple cinnamon side was tasty. It was in likeness to a pie filling and was far better when it came out hot than after it sat on the table and cooled. The Benedict was fantastic. The eggs were poached perfectly so as to still spill luscious yolk all over the plate but the whites were cooked through. The hollandaise was from scratch, which one never sees anymore. It was good, rich and tangy and a hint of cayenne at the end. Not the best hollandaise I've had but definitely one of the better ones.
The service was fast and the view was just what you want to see waking up in Jasper - if you can get one of the coveted seats near the front windows. All in all a great experience at breakfast. I'll stop by again when I'm next in the area.
Good Breakfast. Lots of food and really fast. Had a cheese omelette and it was huge. Tons of cheese in it and it was smokin' hot when it got to the table.

Excellent choice for breakfast
The main menu with the wild game was abit pricey but I opted to go with the dinner special wild salmon with carrot potatoes and veggies with a glass of wine for $15. I was very pleased with the price and taste of the meal. I also liked having the bottle of water at our table to refill ourselves. My wife had the risotto Cajun style and it was spicy the way we like it. I would recommend this place.
As we searched the menu, I figured I wanted more a lunch item, so I picked their Blackened Salmon Sandwich, a filet of wild sockeye salmon rubbed with blackened spices, topped with vegetables and tarter sauce on ciabattia bun. My husband choose to have more a dinner item and he opted for their Bison Meat Loaf which was an all bison meat loaf with some vegetables on the side. I got the banana bread french toast with hashbrowns (not pictured) and both were amazing. What really set this place apart aside from the delicious food was the level of service we got from our waitress (wish we had gotten her name). Our waitress went above and beyond. Always making sure our coffee cups stayed filled and literally going out of her way to make our experience memorable. My friends had their 3 month old daughter with us and the waitress helped us open the doors and set the stroller down. It was some of the best service I've had in quite awhile and really made us feel welcome and at home. I would absolutely recommend and hope to be back at some point! Thanks for the amazing experience!
We just returned from the most DELICIOUS meal we’ve had while in Jasper. We seriously can’t stop rubbing our bellies and talking about how amazing the food was.
We ordered one carnivore skillet and one herbivore skillet, both came out fast and piping hot, and both tasted absolutely amazing.
The hash browns were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and everything in the skillet went so well together! The chef must really know what they’re doing to make simple veggies taste THAT good!
Drip coffee was good, service was great, and the food was just straight up amazing. Seriously the most impressive breakfast I’ve had in Jasper. We actually left feeling full and extremely satisfied for the first time during our week here.
Thank you Papa George’s for the great service and incredible food, I highly recommend both skillet dishes, and they were totally worth the price point. What a positive experience!
Breakfast is really good there, I especially recommend the pancakes, with the real maple syrup.. yum !!
This restaurant blew my expectation. I figured this resturant would be average or good. However, this restaurant was excellent. The server was great, friendly and helpful.
The food was good. I didnt expect my Wild Boar dish to be good. The sauce gave more depth and flavour to the boar. The portions are generous. Even the soups was delicious that I want to order another one. Shepherd's Pie is also good that I felt like I was at a British Pub.
Dessert is also good. Unfortunately I do not remember what I ordered but it was good. The server told us that the dessert are made from local bakery not from mass produced bakery. Supporting local business is a big plus for me.
The breakfast looks interesting and delicious. I will come back for breakfast.
If I come back to Jasper, I would come back to this restaurant!!!
Came early for dinner on a busy holiday weekend. Service was excellent and attentive. Asked for gluten free options. There were many. Even brought gluten free bread out to go with their own free dinner rolls. Food was good, well cooked and presented. Seating was comfortable. Good views. Recommended.
Service is fantastic!!! Lobster Mac n cheese was excellent, but fair warning, it's very rich. The bison chili is phenomenal!!! The Sheppard's Pie, with elk, boar, bison was very good. As with most game, it was a tad dry, but that's game for you. I can see why this place has been open for 95 years!! Here's to 95 more!
