We came here because it was the only place open (holiday hours) but it was actually really good. The interior decor is kind of a beautiful pigsty of plants and shiny things, like the inside of your favorite psychotic semi-hoarder relative's home during the holiday season. It surprised and intrigued me and I kind of felt like I was eating on a mini-golf course.
The menu is gigantic, I'm not sure it's possible that everything they offer to make can be expertly made by one kitchen, but the items we picked out were from the "famous greek" section and were indeed pretty good. We both ordered different kinds of souvlaki (chicken and lamb). They used a tzatziki sauce that did not taste like it was made from yogurt, or it was made from the fattiest, creamiest yogurt imaginable - I thought it was great. Greek salad had an excellent dressing, pita was pita, souvlaki itself was very good and nicely spiced, and really the only boring part of the meal was the rice, which tasted really bland next to the other components of the meal. It could have used a bunch of lemon (or something, anything really) to bring it to life. Portion size was very generous, the plate was overflowing with food, and the prices on the menu aren't really expensive either - or at least no more expensive than you'd expect from a family restaurant like this outside of a vacation hotbed.
Full marks on value, food was surprisingly good in some aspects but meh in others, menu will satisfy any family since they serve every popular form of pizza/pasta/greek under the sun, service was ok, atmosphere was a little odd but definitely playful and fun. Less fancy, but a decent choice for a family or any group of people that can't agree on a single cuisine, or if you're just looking for somewhere that seems a little more homely and down-to-earth in Jasper.
Fast and good customer service. The food was really tasty! I tried the fettuccine Alfredo and really enjoyed it. The inside of the restaurant is neat looking, has a different atmosphere. Decent selection of drinks as well.
We recalled eating at this restaurant several years ago so decided to stop when we were in Jasper last week. We definitely were impressed The service was excellent and we enjoyed visiting with the young Norwegian waitress. The menu selection is varied and the food was great! We would strongly recommend anyone visiting Jasper to give it a try. We know you won't be disappointed.

Chanced upon this restaurant one really cold evening in Jasper.. Had a really pleasant time with family and friends...love the ambience, it's very cozy.. enjoyed a dim lit candlelight dinner.. ordered n vegetable tomato pasta soup, teriyaki vegetables with rice, vegetable lasagna and baklava and chocolate moose cake for dessert.
The soup was super delicious, just the way I like it.. the teriyaki veggies with rice was alright, it was very subtly flavored and light.. The lasagna was yummilicious, cheesy and rich..
Last but not the least, totally enjoyed my baklava experience. Always wanted to try it, and I did for the first time at this place. I must say, I wasn't disappointed..
A great place for a great meal..
Love this place, family owned, nice clean place, super friendly, great food, real good prices feeding a family will not bankrupt you, we visit Jasper 6-7 times a year and this is the only place we eat now, ohh and the bakery
Stop here for lunch. Jasper is very quiet this time of year. We were only ones in resturant. Ordered pizza. Was very good
Fish and Chips. Nice fish and chips. Batter was not too thick, great fries. Veggies included carrots, peas, cabbage and beans. I've always enjoyed eating here.
I was reading other reviews, started to worry.
My family ordered breakfast and are presently surprised. Food portions good and tasty. All of them are happy with their meals.
Prices are average with Jasper.
This spot is great, a perfect example of why you can't trust all reviews. The location is ideal (right on the corner), the outdoor patio is huge, and the food is decent. Yes, the owners seem a little grumpy, but our waitress was to the point. Total bill with tip for 2 appetizers & 2 entres was $60.00. Free parking out back!
Great food and service. Nice ambiance and the food's great! I ordered a baby back ribs, one of the must try dishes. Definitely going to eat there again when I come back to Jasper!
Best Calamari. Yum, the best! Always have to make a stop when passing through Jasper. Can't find quality like that anywhere I live!
It was great. After a long hike up Whistler my gf and I sat on the patio and had a great greek salad and L&W Lg special pizza. GreT patio and great service with a smile.
A hidden gem - best sandwiches in the town of Jasper. Glenn will ask you about your whole life story while assembling your perfect sandwich. Stop here to fill your picnic basket before a hike.
Absolutely awesome sandwich! I was walking down the street and stopped to look at their sandwich board ad and wondered if this is what I wanted for lunch. Another person said, "I just had one of those, and it's the best sandwich." Okay, good enough for me. I wasn't disappointed. Really good stuff, and friendly staff!
You'd think in the dozens of times we've been to Jasper we would have found this place before! They were so kind and made our little picky eaters Swiss cheese, cucumber, and butter sandwiches (which they just loved!) The buns have a lovely crunchy crust and so soft on the inside.
Our sandwiches were delicious and hit the spot perfectly! Thank you!
When life offers you a delicious surprise, you cherish it! Wendy and Glen's warm and caring welcome makes you feel right at home. We had the delicious beef stew and some sweets. Wish we would stay longer in Jasper to come back! Such great food served by the sweetest people!
WOW what an absolutely beautiful place in every single aspect!! I walked in today and asked the man to surprise me with a sandwich, and he delivered over and above my expectation!! The perfect balance of light and fluffy bread with a perfect crust, to fresh ingredients including chicken, arugula, cheese and cranberries! All for $14 which is an absolute steal for downtown jasper! The entire family welcomed me with genuine conversation. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful family run deli!!
Highly recommend this business. I have celiac disease and had the most amazing wrap since being diagnosed over 5 years ago. The staff were super attentive to cleaning and freshening their gloves before preparing the gluten free wrap and made amazing suggestions! In fact, I went back again the next day for the same wrap. I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Jasper! Sorry, no pictures, it disappeared too quickly.
Absolutely fantastic sandwiches! The staff there is very very friendly and treats you like friends! Would certainly recommend for everyone needing a delicious lunch during their hikes and visits to the surrounding area!
I cannot say enough about this little gem. I stopped in to pick up lunch on a trip to Jasper. My husband was feeling under the weather so I wanted to pick up something quickly so I could get back to him. The owner/operators were incredibly kind, suggesting hikes I could safely do on my own while making me one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had (in-house roasted chicken on an in-house baked whole wheat bun with a vast array of delicious topping choices). When I was paying, they insisted on throwing in homemade chicken noodle soup on the house for my hubby. This kind of service and level of care and attention are uncommon at best these days. We will most certainly visit Patricia Street Deli every time we visit Jasper in the future and you should too!
