This was the best meal of our trip. The chef is top-notch, really knows how to balance flavors to create a memorable dish. The service was excellent and the atmosphere romantic if a bit cramped.

Both off the menu supper were amazing. Our server was great and accommodating to my request off organic red wine which we both next door with a reasonable corkage fee.

Amazing experience, they really took care of my wife's food intolerances and made it a comfortable dining experience for her, she was ecstatic. The food was great, amuse bouche and flavoured ice as palette cleanser were nice treats along with the warm biscuit. Everything exceeded my expectations which is so rare these days - Service, food, price, decor all top notch. Try the duck confit, you won't regret it!

I can't say enough about Syrahs--in fact, it may be one of the best restaurants I've ever been to (our group went 3 times in 21 hours and were heartbroken we couldn't go again, if that tells you anything). Everything is excellent on this menu: EVERYTHING. From bacon caramel French toast (3 kinds of bacon, people), to elk sirloins and grilled veggies with goat cheese, it was all my favorite. But that's not to be eclipsed by the dessert, La Fin, which you totally shouldn't skip--you need to try it all (I'm still dreaming about that goat cheese cheesecake. The texture was divine, like creamy butter!). And the service is impeccable. Andrew, you rock! tl;dr--Ridiculously good. Totally worth it. 3 kinds of bacon. YOU MUST GO.

Amazing! Phenomenal! Three of us had dinner there tonight from a recommendation and I have to say we were blown away! All the food was fabulous and you get lots of little treats while you wait for your appies and meals. It might be a bit pricy but every dime you will spend is worth it! Thanks for a wonderful evening ���

Syrah's of Jasper was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise. The food was absolutely amazing (Camembert appetizer and elk steak for dinner). Definitely worth trying out if you're in Jasper!

The service was great, attentive but not stuffy. The wine selection was nice and the food was good. Dessert (the cheesecake) was amazing! We'll be back our next trip to Jasper and recommending it to our family and friends.

I was skeptical at first with the mixed reviews, but I am so glad I ignored the bad ones because I had an amazing dinner here. The elk carpaccio is honestly one of the best dishes I've had ever, even more enjoyable than some Michelin star restaurant dish and I'm really not exaggerating. The caramelized onion tart was also amazing, really amazing pastry and tomatoes and herbs were a perfect match. The bison rib eye was a highlight. Very flavourful and perfectly cooked, normally I don't like my streaks with any sauces but this sour cherry glaze worked so well with it. Elk Wellington...I'm normally not a fan of the tenderloin cut but this was really perfectly done as well. Keep in mind there's a strong mustard used for the Wellington. I liked it but for those who don't like the mustard/horseradish kick, be warned it is a strong flavour. I think you get the point of you're still reading my essay. Just eat here...you won't regret it! Well done Syrahs! I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Fancy restaurant, great service!!! Just a bit expensive Offers water choices at first (tap, sparkling…) stands out from other restaurants I went to in jasper. The cheese cake is amazing, a must try!!! Cheese cake with Oreo cookie Bolton, siding with berry. I enjoyed it even I don’t like sweat food. 5/5 for the bison ribeye, very juicy and perfectly cooked. The vegetables are a little oversized but still tastes good. The elk Wellington is a bit bland comparing to the ribeye, nothing too special, just a decent dish. The washroom has a unique mint smell, really freshen up the place. Clean and well decorated. Pretty nice.

Great food and great service. I had the Elk Wellington and it blew my mind. All the appetizers were fantastic. Our waiter paired a bottle of wine with our meal and it was spot on. YOU NEED TO GO HERE!!

We ate Arctic Caribou Special, not on the menu. First it looked raw but the taste and texture was awesome, the game taste was just slightly there. It was very delicious and the sauce was not too sweet, potato was excellent. I only can recommend. The staff are very nice people and knowledgeable about all the food.

Expensive but totally worth it. We had the elk Wellington, the bison, and the onion tart. Everything was delicious, as were the cocktails and wine! Highly recommend.

A friend mentioned about trying wild game steak in Jasper and Syrahs of Jasper came up on my google search. After a whole day of hiking, we decided to have dinner here. Kea was very nice and friendly, our table was wobbly and she happily moved us to another table. We asked her about their Elk Wellington and she explained how it was cooked. It was superb! It was cooked medium rare and was very tender. We loved it! Price was reasonable too. Highly recommended in the Jasper town area! So worth it.

Lovely Jasper restaurant with great food and even better service. We started with the elk carpaccio which was amazing. Then we got the bison ribeye an Atlantic salmon. Both were fantastic.
