Reviews Golden Dragon Restaurant

A piano, pink walls, and excellent Chinese food. We stayed this past week-end at the Georgina Resort in Jackson'r Point (dysfunctional hotel, not recommended!) and walked over to the Golden Dragon restaurant on Lake Street for some Chinese food. We had decided to eat in. That was the right decision. I suspect that this restaurant has been an important part of downtown Jackson's Point for quite some time. As we walked in, we noticed the interesting pink decor, the nicely laid-out table cloths, and the grand piano in the far left corner. From the open music books, we decided that the piano was more than an unusual ornament. Golden Dragon turned out to be an excellent North American-style Chinese restaurant. My chicken fried rice was perfect, as was the shrimp combination plate selected by my wife. The mother-daughter service was friendly and outgoing. I would certainly recommend this place. I asked our young server if she played the piano. With a huge smile, she said that she did, but only "when no customer is around". Unfortunately, I failed to convince her to play for us. Maybe next time we're in Jackson's Point! That would make this restaurant truly awesome.

I really love their Singapore rice noodles, tests soooo good. Oh don't forget try the sweet sour chicken ball, small one, but less flour. My friend and me love them.

Went their for dinner with family...foods are average but still we were happy to get chinese food in this kind of remote area and we're amazed to know that they are in business here for 45 years...
