Visited here from out of town and I got to say, it's a wonderful, cozy place with superb food! I tried their grilled PB&J and it was so good. Definitely a must if you want breakfast/coffee or some delicious desserts
Excellent, freshly baked goods! We stopped by for the first time, and were surprised at the delicious quality. Peanut butter cookie was light and a bit crumbly, instead of the usual dense and pasty texture at most bakeries - best I’ve had! Scone also great texture, and not overly sweet or processed.
This will become a regular stop whenever we’re in Huntsville 😋
Dropping in to Whimsical Bakery to see what it's like inside was a great idea! Contrary to earlier comments, I found the coffee to be hot and fresh and the staff was great. Although there was a small lineup it was worth the wait. I was impressed by the selection of homemade goodies and even a lunch menu which is a bit different for a bakery. I ordered the grilled cheese and coffee and took a lemon tart and butter tart for the road. I was told they bake their bread fresh every day and that's what they use for their sandwiches - I can't remember the last time I had fresh baked bread - I think that was the secret to the tastiness of the grilled cheese. Will be back next time I'm in town!
The food was fabulous. Had the Moroccan vegetable soup (to die for) and the grilled Rueben (the best I've had). A truly delicious lunch. Service was also extremely pleasant. Would definitely return next chance I get.

As quality connoisseurs, my husband and I agree that the baked goods were phenomenal (we had the apple beignet and oliebollen). Like, INCREDIBLE. Customer service was lacking, but the quality justifies five stars. Lengthy wait time, which is no big deal, but friendliness meter was a little low 🤔
