I previously gave this restaurant 5 stars. I unfortunately have to amend my rating. Came here to grab two rolls. I asked for roe and got sesame seeds. Then while eating it I found that the taste was very off. Looks like they served me rotten avocado. I won't be back here again. Such a shame. I used to love it here.

Our first time here. Was super excited to try it (we love pokes), but unfortunately the cashier (Caucasian guy) spoiled it for us. 1 star for service, but 5 stars for amazing slush with amazing tapioca. Got the mango passion fruit. Shame that it took over 20 minutes just to get one drink. I would assume you would serve each customer from taking their order to serving them, start to finish. Unfortunately, after taking our order, he took at least another 6-7 orders, and when I asked him at the 15 min mark if it’s ready, he said he didn’t get the chance to do it yet. He saw he were frustrated, N yet he blatantly proceeded to get a couple more orders before making ours.

I ordered Charlie’s Chopsticks for the first time in almost a year. Two combos were ordered, one vegan and one containing fish, both were placed in an over sized pizza box. The box was in a paper bag, on its side, with the two rolls combined and toppled. Once we looked closer at the rolls, they weren’t even our order. One was vegan, but had completely different ingredients than ordered, as well as the fish roll, with missing dips.
When we called Charlie’s Chopsticks to inquire about the order, as we had also contacted SkipTheDishes but knew this could have been a packaging issue rather than delivery- even if we wound up taking someone else’s order, we knew they may want to resolve this right away. The customer service was absolutely terrible, both the language used and care for food quality was disappointing. I have never had this bad of an experience with them and was shocked, to say the least.

Great experience, very pleasant costumer service. I also feel that the sushi and the drink was well made with care and understanding of my specific order.

Very disappointing. I used to love the bubble coffee. This afternoon I ordered a large one with coffee jelly and got only a few jelly strands for over $7. That's daylight robbery. I had a delicious fruit shake last week. Why is the service inconsistent?

Great Sushi, terrible customer service. They never answer the phone so you can't pre-order. When you stand there at the till waiting to order you get ignored while watching them hanging up the phone calls that are coming in. They're obviously busy which is why pre-ordering would be ideal. Also you can't pre-order for pickup on skip or door dash anymore. Only delivery. I want to pickup on my way home from work since it's on my route so why would I want to pay for delivery and tip. Probably won't be going back until this is fixed.

i usually never write reviews, but it seems extremely necessary for charlie's chopsticks. best sushi ever. no doubt. I could eat here everyday. Lots of selection and it's always fresh! Great bubble tea too! Really friendly staff and amazing food!

So delish!! And highly addictive I must say. Only complaint is that I wish they had a few more fruit/vegie options for the rolls. Maybe add some green beans and sweet peas, along with some kiwi or oranges during the winter months when berries are not is season. All and all great place with excellent customer service.

I used to work at the pizzeria that once stood where Charlie's Chopstick is now situated (in Welland) and the interior looks amazing! The food was even better than the aesthetic upgrades to the building! Not only are the prices excellent for the quantity you get, but the quality is top notch! Love the place and I will definitely be back.
