Review Turtle Jacks - Hamilton

Went in around 3:30 on a Tuesday. Wasn't to busy, got the booth seats which were bit tight but that's fine. Server took our order and ID/Vaccine info. Ordered our food which came fast roughly 17 min. I got the full rack of ribs w/ fries coslaw. It was tasty. However the server never checked in on my table, so me and a friend weren't able to get a refill on our drinks. I might give this location another try in the future. The food was good but service could have been better.

My boyfriend and I went to turtle Jack's on Saturday Oct 10th , Linda the manager was very kind to offer us to come back,. We had originally gone for lunch one week earlier , unfortunately that day the service was slow and the French onion soup was disappointing. I'm happy to say that on Saturday we were not at all disappointed. The service was impeccable the food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The blackened chicken salad with the balsamic dressing was perfect, my boyfriend had the turkey goat cheese on Naan and he thought it was absolutely delicious, but I have to say the sponge toffee with caramel and ice cream that we ordered for dessert was one of the best I have ever tasted. I would definitely recommend turtle Jack's for lunch or dinner , there is quite a bit of items on the menu to choose from . I have a upcoming business meeting and I have suggested that we go to turtle Jack's for our lunch / meeting. I have added some photos of the lunch we had and as I previously indicated the food was top notch..

Here is the steak, with crispy fried onions, with veggies, & the other plate is a meatloaf with veggies as well! Other then food the service was Great, good food, The server was absolutely amazing and kept checking in so many times and gave exceptional customer service, I have never been treated so kindly and felt at home!

Located right beside The Keg, this well decorated, well staffed restaurant serves a pretty descent and diverse menu of entres mains and desserts. Good food, good wine, friendly service, not expensive... Update 2022 This location experiencing change of ownership which is affecting the items listed on menu especially liquor and beer . Service or quality of food hasn't suffered at all.

My daughter took me to lunch here I have been thinking about the California turkey sandwich I ate for 3 days. It was DELICIOUS! Go eat one! Seriously, do that. My daughter had a roast beef sandwich with a dip that she has had in the past and loves. The service was excellent, friendly, fast and attentive. Will definitely be back for another one of those sandwiches! So good.

I’d only been to a turtle jacks once before years ago. I was pleasantly surprised by being greeted by the hostess who was an old friend who I hadn’t seen in over 10 years! And then our server was another one of my childhood friends! I’m definitely biased in this review but had such an awesome dinner! I got the power bowl which was definitely the most colourful plate of food I’ve ever had and it was so delicious. Our food came very quick and the atmosphere was so nice. Will be returning!! Thanks for a great evening and shoutout to Maddy and Pascale💕

Just want to give a shout out to Jen. After long deliberation over a shell fish allergy and getting fish chips with my fiance, she came up with a great solution for him and went above and beyond. His belly was full and in a good mood until his next feeding. Thank you for making my life easy. May all of the future managers aspire to be like her and making other women's lives easier with their hungry mates.

Food was great but the day we went, they were in between owners and had no liquor license to serve alcohol. Not their fault but would have been nice to have a drink with dinner. Service was excellent!

Went here with my dining group for our monthly birthday celebration. <br/>Atmosphere- Standard road house franchise place. Nothing special going on here.<br/>Food We had a lot of dishes- 1) blackened basa fish- reports were "excellent" The vegetables it came with were done nicely as well 2) bacon wrapped meatloaf- This was a huge piece and very tasty. Mashed potatoes were also good The fried onions was also a nice compliment to dish. 3) steak with shrimp - perfectly cooked and vegetables were nice 4) thai salad- fresh and nice 4) tofu stir-fry- quite good 5) buffalo chicken wrap- ok. Not a lot of flavour 5) Caesar  salad- too much dressing. California chicken salad- chicken over done salad was just ok 6) chicken quaesedia - would not order again. Not  much filling and a tiny amount of lettuce for topping 6) greek veggie burger- not special . Greek salad- good 7) brownie dessert- excellent.  <br/>Service- We had a large group and a wonderful waitress that could keep up to all our needs. We brought our own cake ( plates and forks too) and no mention to charge us to serve it. Thumbs up for that<br/>Impression- I would go back and try the meatloaf or basa fish dish. they seemed to be the standouts with our group.

Poor management selection. We were in with a group about a week ago now, and honestly the service was bad bad bad. However, we were there for a celebration and didn't let that get to us. What really left us aggravated was this short girl who claimed to be the manager. She was just a rude woman with no idea how to handle a group of people with a legitimate concern. Our server told us she was still kind of new and it wasn't the first time a patron had questioned her ability. Not recommended. Will never return.

It's just "O.K" Not bad.... It's just "O.K"<br/><br/>Not bad if you want a beer and watch the game. The best service is at the bar. Service at tables is very poor.<br/>I wish there was a in between vote. Like "sorta likes it" non original menu.

I was part of a group if 15 who ate here a few weeks ago on a busy Saturday nite. The food was excellent. Service was lacking. I know that big groups present a challenge but we had to go in search for our server several times. She would just disappear. We did mention an allergy and a manager did come to our table to check with us and give help with the menu. That was appreciated. I think i will return at a leas busy time with a far smaller group and see if that improves the service. The menu is varied and there are several items i would love to try on a future visit.

Great Service Every Time. Wonderful staff, always quick with refills (Maybe review below went on a busy night or a bad night because we have never had a problem).<br/><br/>Good Veggie alternatives.

The apple butter rack of ribs is top notch!

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is great (especially the 3 cheese dip) and the service has always been great, although, it may depend on what time you go at. I miss the smoothered chicken, they should put that back on the menu.

Good food... crap service!. They have awesome wings, and other good foods (expect the turkey and goat cheese sandwich that didn't arrive with goat cheese), but the service is terrible! It takes too long to get refills, and if you have anything wrong with your food you can't get a servers attention to get it fixed! Also, awesome patio!! (it's almost that time of year!)

The dusted roaster wings are the best in town. Nothing bad on the menu.
