It's a great place, with a huge variety of drinks and food with some twist. We tried the famous nachos and that were delicious, with a twist.
We booked a table before going and would recommend doing that always as this place is crazy busy. In summers they have indoor and patio dining and the domes are only available in winters (that's what I was excited about)..
The music was crazyy and it seemed like a pub of Toronto downtown..
I didn't like the service and kind of felt unwelcomed there. The server was always in a hurry and after we finished eating she just brought the bill, which we didn't ask for. We felt like after we had the food, we should leave as there were other people waiting for table but we wanted to spend some time there and continued ordering drinks. I saw the reviews which said the service and servers are great and I didn't feel that way.
May be it was our server, or may be she's new..
Washrooms are clean, there is parking, there is security, it's wheelchair accessible, the location is beautiful and the music is lit.
I would love to go again.

went there tonight with my boyfriend, we had a fantastic meal and amazing drinks. I would definitely recommend this place! I ended up staying a while with a friend who showed up. Angie was my server the entire night and they were absolutely fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place for great customer service and amazing food and drinks! Food was good, drinks were fun did the dome experience. Staff was very young but friendly. Masks seemed to not be mandatory even with signs up. Bathrooms were disgusting.

We were drawn here from the nice cocktail and unique dishes on menu. We had the baby nachos, big Mac tacos, sweet chili Thai wings and the baked garlic shrimp.
Baby nacho is perfect for sharing. It has a little bit of everything in it such as Nachos, waffle fries(my fav),taters and this other nacho shape chip(texture is similiar to taco Bell's cinnamon twists). Even the baby nacho is pretty large so be aware of that before considering the daddy nacho(the large version)
The Big Mac taco is the way to go if you like Big Macs. It comes in three and taste just like McDonald's but better. The flavour of it is bolder and the meat/bun/sauce ratio is spot on.
The wings are cooked right and not overly seasoned with Thai sauce.
The baked garlic shrimp was delicious. The size of shrimp were large and when having it with the toast dipped in the sauce it's a beautiful thing.
Enjoyed the visit here and would definitely drop by again the next time I'm in Hamilton. Patio looks great and would love to dine out there when whether permits.

Lively and a fun place with some good looking cocktails and a huge nacho platter to fill you up. Great place to catch up with friends. Sitting underneath the sky in one of the domes was an amazing experience and I recommend you give it a try.

From reading all the great reviews of Cause & Effect I was expecting it to be pretty good.
This was not the case at all. Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had.
We arrived just before 5:30pm, sat down and ordered drinks. It took over 20 minutes for the server to bring a beer and a virgin mojito. We ordered food which also took forever, and was not even worth the wait. We waved the server down when drinks were empty to let her know we needed drinks and that there was a chip in the beer glass.
After we ordered our food maybe 15 mins later the server came over and asked us if we wanted to order food...again.
I could understand being a bit slower with service in the place was actually busy which it was not.
I would not recommend going here ever and we will 100% never be back.

Great food, fun and tasty drinks, fast and friendly service. Overall we had a great time here and will be back. We had the chicken and steak quesadillas with a side of waffle fries. It was so much food we had to take some home.

I dont even know where to start. An amazing experience all around. Our server was so sweet and very good at explaining the idea behind the menu and the restaurants brand. The food is ridiculously delicious! Price is reaaallly reasona ble and the portions are huge!!! From the martini over dry ice to the apps meal and desserts I can happily say this is a new fave. I already want to go back to try some other dishes!!! ������

It’s not worth the Hype. We got put on an hour and a half waitlist. Never got a text, like we were told. When we went to see where we were on the list, they re opened the patio(because of rain it was originally closed) and when we did get seated there were 9 empty tables inside and a bunch outside. Our server was nice and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was up heat. Our “nacho daddy” was not great at all. We paid $6 extra for beef and we each maybe had 3 bites of meat. The nachos were over cooked and you could taste that they were almost burnt. For $23 it was NOT 2 feet of nachos.... we also ordered sangria, all that was in there for fruit was lemon, lime and orange and it was 95% just peel in both of our cups. You’re paying top dollar for nothing! Just go to jack Astor’s, you’ll be way more satisfied and save some $

Me and my wife after a 90 min wait had a Burger that had no flaver to it and had the 2 foot Nacho platter which was only about a foot of "nacho" that I found to taste really bad the salmon on the other hand was really good and the mixed drinks are just pure vodka with a small fruit after taste and the cupcake milkshake that was just for looks and not taste I would recommend hiring someone that can make a good good food and drinks for a $125 I don't think I will ever be back.

Definitely my new fave place to go for great food and drinks! The patio is the perfect location to enjoy the summer weather. I’ve been for lunch twice and looking forward to going back to try more of the mouth-watering choices from their menu. I’m recommending them to everyone.

All around great experience! Everyone was polite and friendly. The food was awesome. The Ceasar salad was the bomb!! The shake was I can't even describe how amazing it was!! So worth the 30 minute drive!! Can't wait to come back!!

Greeting was quick and welcoming (not busy, a week night). Seated quickly and server at our side promptly.
Food was very good, drinks offered quickly.
Only negative is the volume of the music. Pretty loud which made it hard to hear the server and each other...and I’m not that old! LOL

We went there for my parents wedding anniversary and they were so kind. Our waitress went out and got them a bouquet of flowers, the dessert was on the house and they gave them a discount on the bill. The food was good and the staff were kind.

We went there last night and had a blast! Jacqueline was our fantastic server (great sense of humour),the management/owners are amazing, and the food and drinks were excellent. The fellow clientele were also great (lone star girls). We will definitely be back!

Great place to eat, lots of minor mix-ups but it seems the servers were pretty backed up with the opening demand. Pretty expensive for the portions but overall it was a great place to eat at.
