Review Atomic Kitchen - Hamilton

Just had the two piece dinner. I'm a big guy and it was more than enough for me. The fish was two thick, six ounce potions of haddock with a crisp golden batter. Generous amount of fries and the coleslaw was like my grandmother used to make. (she made great coleslaw) The silver haired gentleman preparing and serving the fish was very friendly and informative. Excellent, excellent, excellent, oh did I mention...excellent!!! I will be back.

Yummy! We spotted this place just driving by and we're so happy we stopped to eat in. I had the Atomic Kettle Fish and chips - so fresh and unique! The whole menu looks great and Barry, the owner, is a delight. I'm looking forward to coming back for breakfast. :)

Fantastic breakfast menu with great service and very healthy portion sizes. Complete and utter hidden breakfast gem on the mountain. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Found this place by accident just driving down Fennell. Had a delicious lunch. Loved the food and atmosphere so much that we brought the family back on a Sunday for another delicious meal! Definitely check it out!

Ordered a classic burger and it was great. The bun was awesome, the patty was juicy and had allot of flavor and the veggies were crunchy and fresh. Had a side order of fries and they great, which is no small feat in this city. The gentleman that took our order and prepared our food was polite, friendly and made us feel at home :) The decor was nice and tasteful with a couple old science fiction posters on the walls. The Atomic Kitchen is a must try for anyone that wants some quality food in the area. I know i will be going back again! Please note that the restaurant is about 30 paces west of of gage on fennel.

Finally got there today...very friendly and fast service....best poutine and loved that burger...definitely going back......too bad I missed out on the brisket

I don't think there is a single thing on the menu that isn't great! Barry the owner is an awesome guy and the mom and pop diner atmosphere is also great. Eat in or take out it Sal goooooooood! And the deserts! Mmmmmm

I have tried many of their items...two of my very favorite things are the fish and chips (they serve haddock) and the Atomic Club but only on two slices of toasted sourdough bread (I get them to add cheese) ... both are must tries, heck as that TV show says..."YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!"

Love this place!<br/><br/>This is our go to restaurant when we dont feel like waiting for Papa Leo's.  With Salt Lick now going down hill, this has become one of the bright spots for breakfast in the city.<br/><br/>Atmosphere: 1950's Diner place with cool posters.  Pretty small, only about 20 seats.<br/><br/>Service: The owners are the only workers, so as such, you always get great service.  Hopefully the lady is cooking, because her food is a touch better.<br/><br/>Food: I have only been here for breakfast, so cant speak to dinner.  The portions are very healthy though not TOO big, everything is cooked perfectly.  The Has Browns are real, and nothing is too greasy.  Above all they actually make a killer Huevo Rancheros!  Amazing!<br/><br/>Totally worth giving a try for your next meal out.

I went here with some friends. We tried to get into Chicago Pizza but the wait was too long for our rumbling tummies. <br/>Atmosphere- A basic  greasy spoon  kind of place. Complete with old everything. Flooring, tables, and posters on the wall. Not the retro cool stuff, just old. We entered from the back and a smoker in the corner was the first thing we saw.<br/>Food- A large selection offered. We chose: 1)  grilled cheese with pulled pork- Excellent. The sauce in the pork was perfect. Not too sweet, not too vinegary, not too much tomato taste... Just right Goldilocks. 2) Sweet potato fries- Meh. especially after I tasted the home cut fries my friends had. The s. . fries didn't come with any type of sauce as in most restaurants which was disappointing. 3) pulled pork on a bun- same incredible sauce on a fresh bun. 4) fresh cut fries- Yum. with a capital Y! These were the best fries I have had in a long time. The owner explained that it wasn't him but the luck of the potatoes he gets that week. Well this week we were certainly lucky. Not too greasy, not too soft.. Just the perfect crispness Goldilocks! 5) We finished our meal off with the best coconut cream pie. What a wonderful ending to a wonderful meal. I hear breakfast is excellent so i plan to be back for that really soon so stay tuned.

Excellent food, great fish and chips, burgers are yummie, aw heck everything my wife and I have had is great!...be sure to get the strawberry cheesecake pie when he has it!!!!

Went there for the weekend breakfast. Had the eggs benny made with real hollandaise, excellent. My friend had the heuvos rancheros and loved it. Also had a burger and really good fish and chips later in the week. Their coconut cream pie is unreal. Owner very friendly. Highly recommend
