Real deal on Poutine… the best poutine I have ever had!! I got the Avalanche poutine with double cheese & double cream… Gravy was perfectly creamy..

Ordered the Traditional poutine. Was not good at all. Gravy lacked salt and was very light in colour. Cheese curds tasted "rubbery" and weren't tender. Fries were undercooked. I will not order from here again. If you have a serious craving for poutine, this won’t be the plate to quench it. I was going to give it a 2/5, but given that this place specializes exclusively in poutine, an exceptionally Canadian dish, you’d expect a lot more.

It was my first time try the poutine. I ordered from delivery app. I ordered Dumpling Poutine with extra sriracha and jalapeno. I like the gravy on the poutine. It is savory. It was a good choice to add sriracha on it to give more kick into it. The dumpling is the highlight. Good dumpling for me. It just that I thought the size of the portion looks bigger in the picture than the actual size. Overall, I like the taste and the dumpling.

Best Smoke’s around by far - SO EXCITED to hear that a new location will be opening in Westdale (though it’s going to get us into a lot of trouble). Management fabulous and incredibly accommodating, Chef was a love and oh boy, was it ever delicious. Can’t wait to see you guys at your new spot, though you always made the downtown drive worth it!!

This place is awesome. I try something new every time I go. And if my brother-in-law is in town we have to stop here since there is no Smokes in Windsor (at least not that we are aware of)

Food was great albeit a bit pricey. Family of 4 got 3 poutines and a regular fry and it came to $38???. Food tastes good although real skimpy on the cheese in the two Nacho Grande and one Bacon Cheeseburger poutine. Considering the cost, expected the toppings not to be skimped on.

Bad service. When the poutinerie opened at 11am the door was locked and after waiting 5-7minutes still no one opened the door until I peaked through the side window thats when a worker finally saw me.There was no apology or any welcoming from her even though she opened the place late. Also the place is dirty like there were old gravy stains on the wall like no one has been cleaning the place daily. Overall the only thing good thing was the poutine.

Varietinerie. This place has got it all when it comes to poutine. Multiple toppings, endless variations, even 3 types of gravy to satisfy different tastes. Portions are hearty and the cost is reasonable. The slaughterhouse poutine puts other fast food restaurants to shame for its sheer heart attack potential. Love the place.

Cheese is never melted and tastes like chunks of rubber, far too less toppings for buying a large size, gravy was mediocre.. Been here a few times to give them another chance, will never come back again

Mouth wateringly good. I can not get enough of their poutine!! I've never been disappointed once. The servers are friendly and the service is quick. You never have to wait long even on nights when the line up is out the door. And while it could be considered a little expensive - the portions and quality are more than worth it. I've never had the regular poutine from here, but their tripple pork poutine is a must try.

What is Wrong With the Gravy?. Took a friend out to try a place that only does poutine and it was so disapointing.<br/>The gravy tasted of peper and nothing else. Fries were good, but there was hardly any cheese and what was there didn't taste like cheese curds, more like pieces of white cheese.<br/><br/>Not going back.

Not what I had expected due to the hype. It was so-so. The gravy tasted really funny.... not seasoned well, very odd flavour and the consistency was also strange, it was goop, not a sauce.

Bad taste of gravy. It was my 1st time at the newly opened Poutinerie in Hess Village. I ordered a regular normal poutine. I got about a block away before turning around to complain that it tasted like mold. Don't know, maybe it was that the cheese was going off, but I was pretty sure it was the gravy...I ended up getting another one with the peppercorn gravy, which wasn't bad but still I only ate a few mouth full before I put it down for good. I asked the girl behind the counter what the normal gravy consisted of and she told me chicken stock...maybe that's what I didn't like? dunno, I think gravy should be made with beef stock personally.
