Review Cupcakes - Hamilton

Ordered a red velvet cupcake for a birthday and it came in a very cute box and a happy birthday topper. The cupcake was delicious and looked great.

The smell when you walk through the door is hypnotic. Please do yourself a favour and visit this place just for the smell and you will definitely walk out with cupcakes.

I highly recommend Cupcakes of Westdale. We went there today just when they opened and ordered a half dozen cupcakes for a gender reveal for just family. We thought we might have to wait until at least later that day to pick them up, instead they said they could make them up right away and to give them about 10 mins! I was so surprised and when we got them they were perfect and very fresh. Thank you so much for the wonderful cupcakes, it was a really nice way to celebrate our soon to be new addition.

Been buying these cupcakes for quite a few years now and they never disappoint. Anytime I'm in town I have to stop in to grab these treats (bonus on Toonie Tuesdays). Only thing is you gotta go in early as they do sell out speciality flavors quick.

Best cupcakes I've ever had. Best flavors for me are Vanilla Cheesecake and Skor. There's also a Tuesday deal (I think) that yall should look out for.

My absolute favourite cupcake place in Hamilton! I work right next to it and I show up at the cupcake shop 2-3x weekly!!! They’re too good!! Every cupcake is made with care , they always make sure each cupcake is perfect! The owner is absolutely amazing! He goes above and beyond for his clients! Definitely recommend everyone here! you wont be sorry!!!

I'd never tasted cupcakes outside of the homemade betty crocker or fortinos cupcakes until I started school at McMaster in 2011. On my 18th birthday my friends came down from Brampton to surprise me and brought red velvet cupcakes (I'd never had a red velvet cupcake before that time). After one bite I fell in love. The cupcake was absolutely perfect!!! I then asked my friends where they got it...and they were like oh we got to your school and didn't have a cake so we asked some students where we could get one and they recommended the cupcake shop in Westdale! So from that day on I've been coming to your shop and always get my red velvet cupcake and have told people how amazing each and every one of your cupcakes are :)

These are the best cupcakes I have ever had. It’s all about the icing. I’ve had so many fancy cupcakes where the icing tastes like cold cream. These cupcakes have a smooth, buttery, homemade icing vibe. The cake is so fluffy but also dense. It’s perfection!!! I drove an hour yesterday to buy them, just to prove to my family that they are the best. No one has disagreed with me so far. :)

My Wife and I had originally went to Hamilton to another cake shop which also boasted that they make cupcakes for weddings. We were disappointed because the lady we spoke to spent about 15 minutes trying to talk us out of cupcakes to instead buy one of her specialty cakes. We left the place feeling like we had wasted the day, until my wife mentioned another cupcake place she had heard of. After a short drive, we ended up at Cupcakes of Westdale Village and pretty much right away knew we had found what we were looking for. The lady we spoke to at Cupcakes was friendly, and walked us through the cupcake selection process (including tasting any of the ones we wanted to!) We were able to customize the icing colours and display stand ribbon to match our wedding colours which was a huge plus for us. We decided on a Chocolate with Vanilla Icing Cupcake coupled with a Lemon Cupcake that had a home-made lemon custard in it. I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of filled donuts/cupcakes but the lemon ones we chose were absolutely delicious. We received nothing but compliments from our guests who had one (or two). I would absolutely recommend Cupcakes of Westdale Village to anyone who asks and believe me, in spite of what you may already think or have been told by others, cupcakes are always a hit at weddings (or any other celebration)!

Very happy with cupcakes of westdale!!! I used them for my own wedding, they were a huge hit and they accommodated my colours. Plus ised them for birthday parties at home. I will continue to use this company!!

Been a favourite since we lived in Hamilton. Always stop when I'm in the area to grab a few to take home. Definitely worth the trip to grab a cupcake.

I've ordered cupcakes from this place twice already, suffice to say I am addicted to them! I even break my diets just to have one. They are the best I've ever tasted, and that includes when i lived inn Toronto! Customer service is always ace.

Literally the best cupcakes i've ever had. The icing is perfect- not too sweet. The cake is moist and just DELICIOUS! The customer service is great there as well, which adds to the experience. Always look forward to my visits here!

We had westdale cupcakes provide cupcakes for our wedding. The cupcakes were great but we rented a cupcake stand that turned out to have been glued back together in multiple locations. As we transported it back the top tier broke as it is super weak. I glued it back together just as well as the other 7 previous breaks already on the stand when we received it. When I returned the stand I explained that it broke and I had fixed it. The lady argued with me over the professionalism of the glue which I had done. The stand looked terrible from the previous breaks already. I told her it is a very difficult to transport stand and perhaps they should look at renting a collapsible stand. She told me the stand was worth $400, I found better stands online for $50. If your going to buy cupcakes for an event don't rent a stand it's cheaper to buy a nice one online and you won't be hassled about there crappy stand when it breaks again. Very unprofessional customer service!
