Review Nino's Ristorante - Hamilton

We ordered from this restaurant last night from a delivery app right before they closed. The food was fantastic! The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce so fresh, and the best meatballs we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to visit this place in person. Definitely the freshest and tastiest Italian food we’ve had in Hamilton so far!

Love this place. After 5 years of going here they remember you like you were family. Make sure you got reservations.

This review is for takeout. An unfortunate lapse in quality means I'm forced to give a low rating. Even though most of the items I tried were fine, the veal parm was so atrocious that it's worth subtracting 2 stars. It tasted literally like dried out cardboard and saw dust, with a distinctly odd smell. I had to throw most of it out. I have no idea if it was too aged or left out for too long. Otherwise, the rest of the items were rather good and the food was ready fast. The portions for the pasta dishes were huge. The Fettuccini had good portions of juicy chicken and was coated in a rich cheese sauce. The meatballs were likewise excellent quality, not overcooked and the sauce was not too acidic. Even the burger was enjoyable. Although the shrimp bisque fell flat and is not recommended based an odd texture (it was too thin and separated into two layers in the container). The minor flaw with the pasta dishes was a slight overseasoning with oregano. The prices are competitive and If this review was solely based on the strength of the pastas, I would give 4 stars, but with the total disaster the parm was, I can only give 2...

Really enjoyed dinner before the theatre. Cosy atmosphere and an interesting menu. A 2 part special.was offered that was a good value with generous portions and really tasty. Would recommend and definitely return.

We had a singularly disappointing experience at Nino's on our theatre night. Volunteering in east Hamilton until late afternoon, we decided on a restaurant close to the theatre as time for a meal was limited. We called mid-afternoon hoping for a reservation and were advised of a 6:15 pm spot. We arrived to be told that "it isn't in the book." A shrug of the owner's shoulders said it all. Instead of even trying to accommodate us or offering some enticement to return - 10% discount, an appetizer gratis - we got an uncompromising "Oh, well. We'll try to remember to write it down next time!" There won't be a "next time!" Our loyalty has already found another place to dine before the curtain rises.

Excellent service and food was fantastic. The place is a small house turned into a restaurant , quaint, romantic place right beside the Aquarius Theater, so very convenient for dinner before or after a show. Only thing to note is the restaurant only takes debit or cash so that is important to remember, No credit cards!!!

Our meals were excellent. Delicious vegetables - fresh and prepared perfectly. Great spot to go before going to Theatre. We will be back
