I have been here a few times over the years and I have never have a bad thing to say. Went again on Sunday and the cooks put love into that food because it really hit the spot. Staff are always great and are always on hand for extra coffee or water as well as just being friendly and always working.
The food comes out very quickly and the price cannot be beat especially for two people. If you're ever looking to get a quick brunch this is definitely the place.

I don't like writing bad reviews. This place is way over priced. 3 small pancakes 10 bucks. 4 strips of bacon, 8 bucks. Tastes good but come on, this isn't London. Probably fine for dine in but I won't go back for takeout. Not to mention, the staff was blatantly angry at each other and being petty the entire time. Very uncomfortable as a customer. Go to another local diner for better value.

Ice cold and rock hard home fries, Eggs done perfect as ordered, sausage's cooked and tasted great curly hair on one of my eggs, left plate and paid quickly and left because not a single staff member including the cook or manager/owner was wearing a mask as we enter the sixth wave of covid and Hamilton's hospitals begin to fill up once again. visited around April 2nd and will be my last. Too bad as a few years ago this place was great to have a tasty breakfast. New Management ?

They can't get your order right when you order off skip the dishes. We called after placing order to make sure they would give us ketchup this time... no ketchup at all. Also two of our orders were missing. Good food but bad service.

Have been going here for years, pre covid. Thought I would take my mom out for breakfast and this is where we went. Service sure wasn’t what it was! The waitress didn’t even refill our coffee, prices are way up, for not so great service! Won’t be returning.

Super frustrating when restaurants can't read what you ordered properly. Ask for fruit instead of homefries, get charged an extra 5 bucks only to still receive homefries. Careful with this place, they'll happily charge you for the extras that they don't fulfill.

Amazing breakfast all day long!. Went to the new location in Eastgate Square and the place is really busy. The wait wasn't bad at all and the waitress was really friendly and attentive. <br/>The food was really delicious and they give really large portions. I ordered the Greek omelette and it came with home fries and rye toast. The coffee was also good, it was free refills.<br/>My 13 year old son ordered the sunset waffle and home fries. He really loved it and the hot chocolate had real whipped cream on it. Definitely going back and I would recommend it to family and friends.

I've wanted to go to The Sunset Grill for a while now and today was the day! I made it early enough so it wasn't crowded and we got to chose a nice spot by the window. Our server was very friendly. The portion sizes were great and we left feeling full but not overly stuffed. I'll definitely go back to try the other menu options!

I have celiac disease, I can't have wheat. Our server actually knew what I meant when I told her, it was such a nice surprise. Their hashbrowns are gluten free and she actually knew that! Anyone who shares my predicament knows this is not usually the case. They don't have gf bread and our server says it's because until corporate adds it they're not allowed to offer it. She told me I could bring my own and they can toast it for me. It's hard to eat out when you have celiac disease and I've finally found a place I can count on for good service and good food. The fresh squeezed OJ is delicious! <br/>I would recommend this as a place for everyone, including people with dietary restrictions!

Simple and clean food. Brekky for me was the three eggs poached, none of that extra water that usually comes with it. Wifey had the light brekky one egg and some fruit... coffee was a suprise, nice light well balanced roast - not that normal slap in your face coffe rush you usually get with most brekky places. Service was abit slow, but considering the amount of familys in here was well above what it could have been. All in all i give the SG a good 4 out of 5 burps. If your looking for a simple clean meal..this is your place.

Really good... if you get the right server. My husband and I are regulars at the sunset. Their breakfast is really good. We love the bacon and the hashbrowns. They make the hashbrowns on site, and they're the best I've had. <br/><br/>One thing to note, all the servers there are aboslutely amazing, they're attentive and upbeat, except one. We've gotten her three times and now we refuse to sit in her section. Her name is Bon, and she's gotten my drink order wrong twice (decaf coffee, both times she brought tea), she once just dropped a handful of cutlery and napkins in the middle of the table (when we had brought friends and it was embarrassing), I've seen her give customers dirty cutlery and had them complain, and she's screwed up every single time we've been there, every time just throwing out some excuse.<br/><br/>Juanita and Tracy are both amazing... Anyone but Bon is. In all, its the food that keeps us coming back. Never had a complaint.
