The place looks like it needs to be shutdown.
Unfortunately I had to use the washroom...no soap. No paper towels to clean your hands..
Atleast he had hand sanitizer to kill all the germs from the washroom..
Had the beef shwarma...what a waste of $10 which I had to ring it in myself btw..

Came here for my first time a couple of days ago and ordered a chicken shawarma and all I have to say was the food was so amazingly tasty and the portion was great. Definitely recommend if you're looking for one of the cities best shawarmas. The flavour and the location had such an authentic feel to it.

I am a returning customer years after years. Best shawarma in Hamilton. The chicken shawarma is made perfectly with an explosion of flavour. It's made perfect every time. Don't listen to the bad reviews. This place is a MUST go for the perfect shawarma.

The best shawarma spot in the city. I've been coming here for closing in on 10 years, it can't be beat! The owner is also an incredibly nice guy, excellent place to visit!

Heard a lot of good things about this place, but was very disappointed! Food was edible, but was nothing good for shawarma. The man working there wasn’t overly friendly or good with the customers. He just wanted us to give him a good google review, well here it is... I felt a little sketchy eating the shawarma. He charges a lot for what you get. I think he charges double tax for the price he advertises. Not going back... wish I wouldn’t have had to say that. Also bathrooms weren’t a thing.

Ashfar's is hands down the best in Hamilton. I don't know what these goons are on about with their one star reviews. He's an absolute legend - friendly guy and very accommodating working until 4am most nights. I always go for the Chicken Shwarma plate and have never been disappointed and I'm usually eating there in the AM's. Imagine it's even better during proper dinner hours. Highly recommend giving it a shot. The people leaving negative reviews likely eat ketchup sandwiches.

My “falafel” was hard as a rock, all the the vegetables were rotten the pita was stale nothing is cleaned there the whole place is an absolute mess. I don’t know how they have a green “pass” on their front door.

This place had it standards at one point. The food is now bad. I am from Qatar, I had my fair share of shawarma dishes and wraps in my country and Canada. Man this has to be the worst place to buy shawarma in Hamilton. Every city has their worst place to buy shawarma and this is Hamilton's. They need to bring their standards back up
