Review My Thai - Hamilton

Really good. Calamari and curry were fantastic!!!! Curry coconut soup also very delish! Great service! $26 for a bottle of wine. Great value and really yummy food.

Came here to dine in, great experience. Nice and cozy little space to eat in. Server was excellent, very kind and came around often enough but not too much to where It was annoying. Food was great! Could eat 1,000 of those appetizers honestly. I got the mango chicken stir fry (pictured below) and wow! Sauce was perfect for the rice. Price was great too! Not sure why a couple people say it was pricey, this is basically fast food pricing, for quality ingredients and service. (Which is amazing considering you can get a combo at mcds for 13, and you can get a meal for 14 here. All in all, I would definetly come here to try more stuff. Loved it!!

Amazing authentic Thai food plus good service. I tried the spicy rice noodles (vegan) and my husband tried the grilled chicken. For both dishes 10/10. The lady who served us was very friendly too.

If you haven't had the beef basil...what are you even doing? Highly recommend this restaurant aside from the very welcoming environment the food is consistently great. This was my go to craving when I was pregnant and its been 3 years later and it's still a staple on my 'take out' nights when I don't feel like cooking.

Huge portions, great atmosphere, and delicious food! The Orange Cashew chicken was my favourite with the coconut shrimp :)

as a Canadian born person with thai/laotian friends I have tasted a lot of thai food.this in my opinion is the best authentic thai food in hamilton. Perfect location downtown but ordered through skip the dishes, and just delicious. photos spicy beef salad sticky rice and pad sew

Bambu is a fantastic place to order Thai food in Hamilton! Whenever my partner and I order, the staff are always courteous and timely. When they've been busy and missed my call, they've actually called me back to follow up and take my order. The food is amazingly delicious. Adding spicy to my vegan pad thai is always a welcome and delicious choice. Great accommodations for dietary restrictions, their menu is plainly listed on their website and overall I'm happy to be a customer here. My feedback would be that building your order online is a bit tricky, and the phone number can be hard to find when looking from the menu. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend!

staff said we were the only people to dine in that day. they were still super busy with take out. Always better in the restaurant than take out. food is very good, little pricey but I would recommend

Brantford Location: 5 of us went for dinner on March 2, 2016 and was a fantastic experience. Our server went above and beyond to make it so. We/I will defiantly return whether it be a group or just a couple. Server was Douangta and can not say enough about her great service and her dinner recommendations were spot on. My Favorited was the Mango sticky rice desert. A must try.

Loved the food! Very reasonably priced and good portions. 25$ bottle of VQA Jackson Triggs wine and $6.50 cocktails. Friendly service (An/Ada was awesome).

Went to My Thai for Father's Day. My dad had the Red Curry, I ordered the Emerald Curry and my brother had Massaman Curry. There were some spring rolls that came along with it. I found my meal very tasty and tad too spicy for my tastes but I really enjoyed it. The chicken and vegetables were very well cooked, and the sauce was so tasty. Dad enjoyed his meal as well. The service was excellent and the waiter was lovely. The green tea is tasty and I would return again anytime. The decor is wonderful as well!

Ordered takeout at the queenston location for my family last week, and specified three times on the order my dish which I wanted meatless and eggless, only for them to send me my food with meat in it, and I was unable to eat dinner. The rest of my family got 5 lbs of noodles each with 2 pieces of chicken and 2 shrimp each in their expensive pad thai, the veggies were not fresh, the noodles were dry. When I called to complain about the meal, and ask for my money back, I was told "just to let you know, we are the most award winning/ highly voted kitchen in hamilton..." I said thats nice, Im just telling you about my experience, I was met with defence, and then told "so youre telling me the only mistake we made was with your dish? because thats the standard for our pad thai". The gentlemen on the phone also asked me to bring ALL the food back so he could inspect what was wrong with it. This is not how customer service should be. If someone who doesnt normally seek money back from your restaurant constantly, complains about their meal, you should not question them defensively, they should just give you the money back and ask what they can do better next time. When my mother went in to get the money back for the meal, they only compensated us for my dish, which was 17 dollars on an almost 100 dollar bill. PLEASE do not support this establishment, support somewhere else, I am more than willing to give people second chances, but the customer service was appalling and uncalled for. I’ve always been a big fan of Thai food so i was excited to visit this “Authentic” Thai restaurant. I ordered their emerald curry and my boyfriend ordered their Tom Yum soup (Tiny Bowl for $5 more or less) and their Vegan Pad thai. We both tried the soup and it was good but it wasn’t the ussual Tomyum we were accustomed to have. As i’ve said, i love Thai food. I know every restaurant is different but this is way different. It was distinctly sweet but its the first dish so we thought, maybe its just this one. So our main dish came and to no surprise everything was super sweet especially the pad thai. Its basically covered in syrup. I sucked it up and ate mine...well just the vegies and the shrimp and tried to dodge the broth as much as i could but my boyfriend just couldn’t eat his. Apparently, they can’t really change it because everything is pre-made so he decided to not re order and just waited for me to finish mine.

As always the food was amazing and the service impeccable!
