Review Bar Sazerac - Hamilton

I’ve been here twice and blown away both times. This is the place for creative and delicious cocktails. Definitely try Fear and Loathing! Staff are friendly and chill and a very cool place to end an evening.

The drinks were great, Bartender knows his stuff, though my glass was pretty dirty. I'd have given this place a 4 or 5 and entertained the idea of visiting again but unfortunately the Bartender's demeanour and attitude were really dismissive and off-putting. It made my wife and I both feel uncomfortable and awkward. We even tried to make conversation and be kind and cheery, tell a little about ourselves and even gave a compliment but the negative tone persisted. He also treated a new member of his staff and another guest kind of rudely, by either interrupting or being slightly condescending in the way he spoke. It was just a strange experience overall. Which is sad because when you're in a super intimate, tiny cocktail bar with no other stimulation, you would hope for it to feel warm and inviting. This was not that. I wasn't going to write a review, but then I looked through the others and realized that there are a ton of people who had a similar experience with the Bartender... No people skills, socially awkward, condescending, dismissive, etc. There seems to be an ongoing theme. I mean, the very term Hospitality, is derived from the word Hospitable. Our experience was not.

Love this place. We visited last night for my cousins 30th birthday and the owner was a peach. We tried most of the drinks on the menu and all of them were awesome. Go here if you want to try some fancy drinks and get the popcorn too it tastes amazing.

A really nice cocktail bar with a lot of interesting and tasty drink options. The interior is well curated with couches and exposed brick walls. They have indoor and patio seating options. The front bar also carrier a lot of mixology kits with everything you need to make some of the house cocktails at home. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality comes through in the drinks as it's looks like all ingredients are made fresh in-house. The staff was friendly and quick with requests. Its a perfect location for a date night or a few drinks with friends.

Had Kyle as my bartender today, the rest of the crew was awesome and professional. But the drink Kyle made me "Metamorphosis" was the best drink I've had in years and the environment was super chill. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice. Very different for us. Great snacks (oysters!). More cocktails than you can imagine. Luke, the mixologist was a great host. Get there early as it gets full (and loud) quickly. It's a must try.

Cool atmosphere, was there with some friends. Sure it’s small, but other than that everything was nice. It has really interesting name choices for the cocktails, would recommend.

A great cocktail bar is fronted by a great bartender. The city's finest is behind this one! The former Mule bartender Scott knows his booze especially scotches. A huge selection of alcohols and liqueurs. Ask him to make anything. Great server, friendly, funny. A must visit!

I love the place. The oysters... the ambience... friendliest staff compared to the trying hard classy (?) and arrogant staff of some bars on King Williams St. I have been to Paris, Rome, Milan, Zurich and Luzern. This place is just as lovable as those I have been to in my European sojourn. My second time here, and will not be the last. Simplicity is BEAUTY.

Nick and Kyle are two of the best bartenders I have ever met. They are mixing up some extremely unique cocktails. Try one of the 5 sazeracs on the drink menu. This new bar in Hamilton is a great place, wedged between two of Shane's other restos, Saltlick Smokehouse and Knead Pizza.

Popped in for the first time last night after my friend raved about the place and I loved it! A warm cozy atmosphere with great ambient lighting. It was such a treat to watch the guys work and do their craft. Simply a delight. Highly recommended!

Found my new fave drink tonight... Why didn't anyone tell me how much I'd like a Gimlet until now?? Really friendly service, great drinks, nice atmosphere.

This bar has outstanding, one-of-kind cocktails with the highest quality ingredients and an extremely reasonable price range. The bartender who served me was exceptional -- made complex beverages perfectly and quickly, while always keeping an observant eye on the customers and managing a rush of drink orders calmly and efficiently. I can't wait to go back to this place!

Owner knew just what to recommend and the atmosphere is relaxing

Popped in last night after dinner for a cocktail and wish I didn’t. The 2 guys behind the bar were pretentious and down right rude. Me: what do you recommend Bartender: well I’m not the one drinking it That’s not a great way to start the evening, no smiles, zero engagement. I asked one of the bartenders how to properly pronounce the name of the bar...answered my question without even looking at me. If you like to be treated poorly while spending your money go here.

The most unique cocktails I've ever had and they were all delicious! A welcoming and friendly place with good food.

Nick Incretolli is incredible my “”Blood if Kali”” was so delicious I’m ready to come back again real soon!

The place is cozy and the drinks are amazing but I just wish the bartenders were a little friendlier.

Kyle is a mixologist extraordinaire. He not only has old standards down like one those recipes that only grandma has in her head but he builds new drinks that satisfy individual tastes on the spot. He takes into consideration the customers palette (sweet《》tart, flavours- smokey 《》caramel ) and combines flavours with not only direct relationship, but also those that transform into familiar yet seemingly impossible flavours given the ingredients. Nothing short of brilliant!

The cocktails were too warm but interesting. I don't mind waiting
