Love this friendly and hip coffee shop. The décor is welcoming. I love how they feature local art work which is for sale - adding to the vibe while supporting local artist. It is LGBTQS2+ and BPOC friendly. Cute gift wares and merchandise. The coffee was great and the service is super friendly!

I've been to Vintage Coffee Roasters a handful of times since moving to the neighborhood, and, every single time, it's just fantastic. I've had both the iced and hot versions of their maple syrup latte, and both are equally awesome. And their baked goods (in particular the chocolate chip cookies) are just next level.
Not to mention, their prices are fair, especially in comparison to Toronto coffee shop prices.
Everyone I've interacted with that works there are always super friendly too.
Would highly, highly recommend! I'm so thankful to have such a great coffee shop in my neighborhood.

To describe Vintage Coffee Roasters in one word would be simply impossible - this is a wonderful place filled with kind, caring staff (seriously - you will not meet a team of people more passionate about making people feel welcome in a cafe). Made better only by delicious, locally roasted coffee and lovingly baked pastries and incredible sandwiches. Also that salmon toast is beyond exceptional.

The service was incredibly slow, like the workers were taking naps between steps. I asked for a glass of water and it took 5min to get it. The place was pretty full and noise. The selection of pastry items was very limited

I honestly have too many good things to say about this place. Even as i'm mid-post of writing this, Lisa brings a glass of water right to me at my table! Just above and beyond. But truly, one of the best coffee shops in Hamilton. There is such a community vibe here, pre-pandemic I would sit at the bar with a crossword and call out clues to others in the shop and they'd holler answers back. (That might sound annoying but it was fun). The staff know their customers by name, and show care as if they did when they don't. This shop cared about being an anti-oppressive space before it was trendy. The food is unreal and the coffee, top notch. They support local artists with a rotating gallery display and will have you chuckling daily with their front-sign wit. Simply the best.

We've been regulars since Vintage opened its doors. While Hamilton has become a coffee mecca (yes, we are spoiled!), Vintage is our "go-to". Their primarily earthy roasts are delicious, and the service has always been exceptional. Did I mention their fresh baked goods are to die for?
