Good fish and chips place. 3 types of fish on the menu. Staff are friendly. I spent some time chatting with them and realised the batter is made fresh daily. Nothing additional to the fish but it comes out with a great taste. A little oily though, due to the deep frying, however, if you love fish and chips, oil comes with it. :). I will come back anytime.

4.5/5. 2-piece special for $5.50!! Classic fish n' chips. Very crispy and crunchy fish batter. Juicy fish. Thick hand-cut fries, clean oil so they're golden in colour. Tartar sauce needs more of a kick! No complaints at all and will be back.

Ordered 2 Halbut and Chips. Order came to over $30. There was barely ANY fish just batter portion was SO small and it was so dry. We are so disappointed as this place was highly recommended to us.

The quality of their food was one of the best! We ordered haddock and chips with a large coleslaw takeout. The fish had the right amount of batter and the chips were very crispy.
The only complaint I have is that they only accept cash or debit. Like myself, most people like the option to pay with credit. Without this option, they could lose a lot of potential business. We may be back someday!

Been going to this location for over 20 years and never had a bad experience. The white fish and chips is almost always ready in 15 min and it's crispy and hot. The batter is what keeps us coming back week after week. People may complain about the service but you gotta understand that they hire students and oftentimes it's their first job, so cut them some slack.

For a business that’s been around for as long as they have I would have expected better quality food. I ordered the halibut family dinner for five and to say I was very disappointed is putting it mildly. There was twice the amount of batter to fish ratio and it was tough to cut through and chew The fries were stale even though they just pulled them out of the fryer which tells me that they were probably precooked and dropped back in the fryer a second time around. I also ordered a side of fried pickles, mushrooms, coleslaw and gravy. All in all I spent close to $100 and didn’t enjoy any of it. I don’t think I’ll be going back and second time.

We’ve been here before and it’s been a while since COVID, it was Good Friday (the day before). First of all there’s usually a friendly order taker on duty, this day whoever this employee was (female with glasses and purple hair in pigtails) I found was a bit snippy, abrupt and not very nice in general. Ordered the large Halibut fish & chips, with an extra piece of halibut and an extra plate for my wife and to split the order in half at our table. The batter was tasty and light, but the fish was filleted so thin (not even 1/2” inch thick). The one large piece out of the 3 was almost hallow with a small amount of fish in it. Was going to take a picture (but wife advised me to just eat it). The fries were ok, nothing really special, it tasted like they were mixed with warmed up ones and fresh ones. Needless to say we were a bit disappointed, don’t won’t to dis any business, but they we’re very busy. Hit & miss?

This place is easily one of the best places that I have eaten at in a long time. My first impression of the restaurant is that it is indeed a fabulous place to eat at. As for the food, the fish has tasted fresh and thr chips are hot and crispy! And the staff are extremely kind and generous! I can't wait to come back and enjoy more of their food! And I recommend the place to anyone!

Worst first impression ever. Ive never written review on any resturant but i just had to for this one. the old man who took my order was rude as hell, i think someone pee'd in his cereal, not a good first impression at all. this seems to be the opinion of many other reviewers on here. fish was ok, little too much batter tho, ive defintely had much better, probably wont be back. i wonder why the place is so busy it must just be the prices because it is cheap but customer service and quality of food are poor.

Comments about service being bad are very true. Workers aren't as polite as you would expect. I've only ordered on wed and the fish to batter ratio is pretty bad that's why they give u more fries than u can handle. Rip off

Yummm. I ordered 2 piece fish and fries. The lady gave us alottt of fries that she had to tape the box to close it up. The prices are good, fish and fries were both crispy. I'd definitely go back again =P!

Very disappointed this time. Usually I go on a Thursday and pick up 2 orders of haddock & chips ( special) on my way home from work.<br/>Tonight--Wednesday--I stopped and picked up 2 orders of regular fish & chips<br/> ( special) --Like night & day!! We got big pieces of batter. I couldn't find the fish. I'm not kidding. The fries--I think that oil had seen better days. <br/>They tasted rancid.<br/>Even the cat didn't bug us. And she usually goes crazy meowing.<br/>Will I return? I don't know. Maybe it's time to try somewhere else.

Horrible the comments about the boss being a prick is all true. This place fired me because of ' what I wore. ' No pre warning or anything just had one of the employees call and simply say it won't work out, not giving the exact reason at all. I had to get the reasoning myself. Spread the word people this place is unproffessional and just a joke.

Regular customer. Generally an awesome product although many times the chips aren't quite soft enough in the centre....just means they needed to be prefried(blanched) a bit longer.The pickle spears are really good but the owner is a little on the serious side, always very polite tho.

I like it. I must agree with the one review that the chap there (I think it's the owner) is not the friendliest. However, saying that, I have been there for lunch on several occasions, and have been very satisfied every time.

Substandard. Party of four - food terrible. Went on Wednesday for dinner, the gentleman at the cash not friendly at all! The fish was mushy and dark grey in colour and was very very greasy. Would not return!

Unbelivable prices. Standard Fish and Chip fare - but on Tues. & Wed., you can get a serving of Fish & Chips (2 large pieces of fish) for $3.45. Good quality, killer prices.
