Craving a fresh made sandwich? I definitely recommend stopping in. They also have hot foods like spaghetti; meatballs; cabbage rolls etc. Today, I stopped in for sandwiches for my mom and I. I was greeted the second I walked in; and the young lady who worked on the food side was amazing! So kind! I love when you can actually have a conversation with someone, who seems to genuinely enjoy their job!

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Best sandwiches around ! A hidden gem on Barton street, visit and you won’t be disappointed! Hot table full of delicious yummy things too and the desserts by the cash register are …well just try one you will see !

An absolute treasure that must be protected at all costs. Ordered the meatball sub with mozzarella ($5.50). The bread was light and fluffy, soaking up the delicious tomato sauce and juices from the meatballs. The bread quickly disintegrated and became useless with the three massive meat balls (boulders). But their texture was far from boulders. The beef and pork balls were soft, savoury and succulent. Mozzarella offered a creamy tang that made everything beyond perfect. Also, amazing friendly staff at the counter and grocery section. And they have salted cod.

Amazing like always hadn't been in a few years. I always used to get their pasta with meatballs this time I opted for their shepherd's pie and I was not disappointed. Probably ly could feed 2 people because I couldn't find ish it. They have always been really good with their portions sizes! I highly Recommend eating and shopping here. They are also all very nice.

The local supermarket experience. I needed cheese for my pasta the other day, and was able to run across the street and pick up a reasonably priced slice of Parmesan. They even offered to grate it. The Portuguese tart staring me in the face at the cashier ended up coming home with me too... desert sorted, dinner saved! 🧀🍮🛒

I can't say enough of this little supermarket. Fabulous butcher counter. Fabulous hot table. My fave. Large pasta with 2 meatballs and large roll $6.50. Many hot items including sandwiches.

These people are amazing. This is a friendly, family run business. They are absolutely outstanding, amazing customer service and I am so proud to have them in my neighborhood! I recommend this place to everyone. Stop by for a cheap but delicious deli sandwich.

I finally made my way to Duarte's for lunch. Ordered the meatball sub. It was nothing fancy but the taste/flavor was fantastic and old school. The bun so fresh and soft. I was not disappointed in the slightest. And the price was great. Cant wait to try others meals on the menu. This will be my go to when in the hood.

Great food and service a highly recommended place for great snack or meal with great assortment of sides available also, they also offer a full butchers services also. The one place in town that sales 50 lb bags of potatoes.
