I ordered the mixed bbq plate via Uber eats.
The taste was delicious and the quantity of the BBQ was generous. 5 stars for that.
The reason for the 4 star review is because the kebabs were a bit too salty for my taste (and I’m brown. We have more salt/sugar/ oil/ in our foods in general. So yea … )
Nonetheless great place. Will definitely order more from here again

Why Didnt i listen to the wife, her favorite place is Jimmy The Greek, and i mentioned to her this place has chicken solvaki as well, and has great reviews, boy was i wrong. The restaurant is clean, customer service great, but food bland and frozen. Rice was long grain basmati rice which was bland, not like Jimmh the greek, yellow and flavourful, same said about the tzaki sauce. Chicken tasted frozen and reheated, Lamb was ok not great, potato wedges were really good along with humus. Rice, Chicken amd lamb not worth the drive, wasted $40.00 on Lamb Plate dinner, Chicken SoulvalKi Dinner amd chickem shwarma wrap. Sorry really didnt enjoy.

I had ordered the chicken and beef shawarma plate and everything about it was absolutely amazing. The portions are huge!! The rice is so flavorful on its own. The meat is tender and has plenty of taste. The staff were friendly and quick. Such a great experience and I will definitely be back.

This is one of the best Shawarma places in GTA. We have tried the Mixed Grill, Kafta, Chicken Shawarma, Fatoush Salad, Falafels and all far exceeded our expectations. Don't hesitate to try atleast once and you'll be hooked.

First time went there for dine in. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Clean and fresh looking seating arrangements. High chairs available for babies. For dine in regular playes and cutlery could be provided insteaf of take out containers.
Food i ordered lamb shank and shawarma rice along with french fries. Taste wise 8 out of 10. Lamb shank can be lil bit more gravy.
Overall experience is good. I would recommend it for delivery or take out or small group of moderate dine in.

Ordered catering for my family and from the service to the food, everything was excellent. I got chicken kebabs, beef kebabs, rice, potatoes, salad, hummus, garlic sauce, hot sauce and pitas. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Would definitely order again. I have some picky eaters and didn't have one complaint. The hummus was absolutely amazing!! Best I've ever had. Thank you Cedar for a wonderful experience. I was a first time customer and will definitely return.

I had a craving for a schwarma plate that specifically came with hummus, pickles and turnips. There were no places near me that fit that criteria so decided to drive to cedar based on a Google photo. While I was ordering I double checked it came with the above! When the order was done the young lady working told me she gave me extra pickles and turnips!! I was so happy!! And to top it off, the food was AMAZING!! The potatoes in the plate were also a lovely surprise! Will definently be my go to schwarma from now on!

Very very good food. I had the shawarma salad. Very flavourful. I wasn't expecting to have all the toppings put on the salad without asking if I wanted all the toppings. I guess I'm use to people asking if there is anything particular I don't want on my salad. Good think I was everything. It was very good

I've eaten at this wonderful place 3 times and I thought about writing a review to support the new management. The new manager and staff are really friendly and kind. The food takes a few minutes to get ready but its served fresh and hot, i dont mind waiting 3 minutes. Really good shawarmas and kabobs.

Friendly and attentive owners who prepare the food as requested hot and fresh! I love the chicken kabob dinner with hummus, fattoush salad, potatkes, pita and a side of falafels. Large portions. Perfect bite sized Baklava for a sweet finish.

This is the best place, ever! I used to eat here almost daily when I went to McMaster (previously located on main west - then called Ghazi's).
When my Mac days were over, I ate shawarma and falafels elsewhere (around the world) and they never compared.
A few months ago, as if by fate, I took a different route home after a late night of meetings and saw Cedar.
"I'll give it a try". As soon as I saw the owner/chef and his distinctive smile, the memories came back.
The falafels were just as I remembered, made fresh while I waited. The chicken shawarma dinner is also amazing with generous portions.
This place is the 5 plus stars.

Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Hamilton. So glad to see you moved the restaurant to the Hamilton Mountain. I use to eat at Cedar's every day when I studied at McMaster, and I am glad you decided to move after I graduated! If you have yet to try their amazing food, then I strongly suggest you do so.
