Came here multiple times before in the past. But haven’t been here since their renovations. Place hasn’t changed much except for their prices. Still worth the buy. I ordered a large chicken/rice with pop. Comes with chicken. Rice. Salad and two pitas. The service is good. The food is good. The portions are large and filling. Would recommend.

I really don’t think this lived up to the hype for “best shawarma in Hamilton”. It was good, filling and decently priced, but I’ve definitely had better. The garlic sauce just seemed a little watered down and the chicken was in very tiny pieces which made it a little drier than I would’ve liked. But a cute, local establishment nonetheless!

Lulu's is a staple shawarma spot here in Hamilton so naturally I love to support. Amazing owners, fast quick service and an enjoyable enough meal. Portions are huge quality is there but I would recommend getting the rice dish as it comes with pitas versus the shawarma wrap itself. Sauces tend to spread a bit unevenly, pita often times soggy before you are half way through and the mess....well good luck keeping yourself clean 😂.

This place is amazing! Ordered 3 wraps and came to $25! Great value! The chicken was very flavourful. The pita was STUFFED! Had great amount of veggies. The sauces were flavourful. Definitely be coming back when I visit Hamilton again! I highly recommend. Wish I took some pictures of the food but it was just too good I couldn't help myself.

My favourite shawarma in the city. Used to come here apt when I worked a few blocks away and now I go whenever I happen to be downtown and the owners still remember me. The portions are generous and the price is good. All in all BEST Shawarma in the city!

Hamilton gem for sure!! They make the best chicken & rice in my opinion. It’s always consistent over the years. Never ever ever ever ever ever have an issue there. Not to mention the employees & owners are just all around amazing. They have been there for years and that takes a lot of strength and determination. Things can get repetitive and still they seem as though it’s still a new restaurant. They are good people who make good food! It’s their take on the middle eastern dish. It’s different than most places but higher tier for sure…I’d go check it out if I were you and you can judge for yourself.

A few years back we moved out of the city, but we always make sure we make time to come down and enjoy the delicious, made with love food!! ( p.s. the chicken and rice saved me during pregnancy!! ) Will forever love and support this place!! A MUST experience!!

This little hole in the wall at John and King William puts out the best chicken and rice I've tasted. That garlic and hot sauce marry so well with the seasoned chicken and rice. It's just heaven. I buy a bottle of garlic sauce on the regular just so I can put it on stuff at home, it's good on anything. When I'm feeling down, or tired, or just don't feel like cooking...it's my go to spot for no nonsense good food. Don't be surprised if you have to wait in line as this place can be packed to the tits. It's mostly a take out joint, but, there are 4 or 5 tables to sit down, if there's room. CASH ONLY (they have an ATM inside).

Absolutely awesome shawarma, easily the best in Hamilton (or, dare I say, south or Toronto). Not much seating inside, but they pack the food up well so I usually just take it with me.

Been going since the beginning. .. I just ordered a chicken and rice. I haven't been there for a while Wow just like it has always been big and awesome!!!!! The owner served me. Awesome lady. I have been around a long time and have tasted all the new shawarma places that have opened over the years and I can tell you this place by far is the best for quality, taste,freshness but most of all portions. They have not changed since the 10,15 years ago. There are not too many Canadian food joints that keep their portions the same since their humble beginnings. When they start doing well they tend to really skimp down on the portions. A lot of American places keep that in check and you can always rely on the size to be the same. .The prices might rise but that's about I in the states. ( I'm ok with that ) This place should be deemed a historical establishment for Hamilton. This brings back memories every time I eat there.

The most perfect fast food in Hamilton. Lulu's menu is basic but the taste of their food is what keeps my Brother in Law and I coming back every week when we finish work. McDonalds, Burger King Wendys are a thing of the past if you're in downtown Hamilton 5 stars

Yummy chicken shawarma. I ordered the chicken shawarma to go and overall fast service, good portions and the food was flavourful. But the only issue I had was some of my chicken pieces were too dry, I'd still go back though because it was still a good shawarma.

The best of the best. I have been a lover of shawarma for many years but never have I been so satisfied as with lulus. The crunch of the perfectly diced onions amongst the perfectly spiced rice and the loveliness of the sauces got and white mixing together over quality chicken can not be missed. Yummmmm!. Great food! The falafel are the best I've had. Fast and friendly service. Best for take out because the restaurant is tiny and always packed. Recently though, they put their prices up. Not cool. EDIT: (I previously gave this a high rating but I have to recant) Quality has gone down hill, portion sizes have dramatically decreased and pricing has been raised even higher. Last time I went there, the chicken in my chicken and rice meal was FULL of hard pieces (I'm guessing improperly cut chicken, cartilage/bone still in there). Yuck I am so done with LuLus

Good Bye Old Friend. Definitely, not what it used to be. Was told it was run by the same guy that ran the place beside the old strip joint years ago, for which I have been going there and now here for a total of 20 years...yes 20 years! I heard they were partners, but the better cook/chef went to LuLu's. I guess with anything that ages, it has declined and shrunk. As I write this, my family and ! just finished eating the 4 orders of chicken

Perfect!. Lulu's Shawarma was delicious. I am very picky about how I like my shawarma but they did a great job with the chicken and fresh veggies. The hot sauce is amazing! Would definitely go back again :) Great customer service and a clean environment.

Not sure why this was voted Hamilton's best shawarma, or how it has such rave reviews here. if you're craving a sloppy handful of sauce and chicken look no further. toppings are sparse and westernized (no tahini, turnip etc). if you find yourself in Waterloo, take a trip to Al Madina and see what you've been missing.

The Best Shawarma Place Ever!!!. Absolutley the BEST shawarma we've ever had, we had 2 spicy shawarmas, hummus, and greek salad with 2 pops. It was enough to feed 6 people and only cost $23 all veg were fresh and crunchy, and all meat was high quality HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL! Not only the best shawarma in hamilton but best shawarma in all of ontario! A+++++++ SEE YOU AGAIN SOON! Just became one of my regular spots to eat!

Best falafel. Best falafel balls I have ever had. Made fresh, these badboys have the perfect combination of crunch on the outside, with mash AND grit on the inside. Haven't had better anywhere in Hamilton or Toronto. At at 50 cents/piece, it's a STEAL! Get 6 for 3 bucks! Why waste your money on empty calories and valuable stomach space on bread and some veggies? BLEH! Ah, and the chicken and rice. Ohhh la la. Don't forget the onions and hot sauce with tons of garlic sauce.

Yum yum yum..... I always get the chicken and rice with salad and its hands down the best shawarma place in town. The food is fresh and made quick right infront of you the only thing thats a bit of a downer is the place is tiny so I always take my food to go. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Yum!!!!. I am so picky with my shawarma and I am originally from Toronto but becuase of my new job i am now in hamilton and i miss eating my usual and only shawarma resturant. and later on a friend/employee had recommend lulu's and thats been my favourite place for my quick dinner snack after work. i love their hot sauce but only wished they had more veggie in their wrap other than that its amazing!!!! with a glass of red wine of course

Easy and delicious. I eat here often and am never disappointed, the shawrama has a bit of indian flavour that completely adds to an already great meal. The staff is friendly and seem relaxed and easy going. Get whatever, its all great.

Amazing!!. Located on the corner of John and King William, and at noon time Monday to Friday the line up goes out the door. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your order. I ordered the chicken shawarma, and was not disappointed! It was filled to the brim with very tasty perfectly seasoned chicken! The only negative thing I can say is, there is not enough seats! So, if your planning on going for lunch to have a sit down meal, you better get there before noon! In the summer there are city benches located steps away from Lulu's that solve the seating problem. Try it, I guarantee you will like it!
