Fantastic bake shop! Had the caramelized onion and goat cheese scone, and my girlfriend had the confetti cookie. Both were fantastic and delicious! I wish there were a couple more savoury options, maybe some croissants? Croissant sandwiches? Focaccia? Regardless, everyone should go get something from them! They are also super generous near closing time, but with great power comes great responsibility, and this generosity shouldn't be abused, but, cherished and appreciated. Their cook (bake?) book, is also fantastic, accessible and easy to use/read, and the pictures are super drool worthy. Excellent value and quality all the way around. There has been a lot of comments about the price of the items, I feel the pricing is adequately justified. How do you adequately put a price on the love and personal principles that the owners put into each item?

Absolutely amazing, amazing desserts every time - especially the mini egg mini cake. I’m not a cake person, but this was life changing.
I have to give the team a particular shout out for being so accommodating- our pickup time slipped our mind as we were busy with our toddler and the team politely called to let us know. As we are from out of town and could not come another day, they kindly stayed past close so we could pick up our order.
We also got our wedding cake from C&L 8 years ago and we are still drooling thinking about how amazing our cake was.

By far, the best from scratch bakery in the city. I never miss out on their Easter menu especially their famous Cream Egg Brownies and Mini Egg cookies. Pre-ordering on their website also ensures you are guaranteed your favs. Worth the price for high quality, well made treats.

As a realtor, I travel to a lot of cities, and do a lot of driving... whenever i pass through Hamilton, I always try and make a pit stop here for a coffee and some amazing pastries that sometimes make it home... mostly.... they don't... Amazing little bakery. You need to check it out.

Very small so there's usually a line up out the door but very tasty and rich pastries! I like how they package things so nicely and they've got fair trade, vegan and I believe organic options as well. A little pricey however quality nonetheless. I'll surely return... I'd like to try their cakes!

Tried their pumpkin cheesecake pie and it was decadent and super flavourful - however I feel like their pie was extremely overpriced. I only got a small pie, which I was told is 4 inches (I didn't get to see the product prior to purchasing as it was curb-side pick-up), but when I got my pie, it was literally the size of a buttertart and I paid almost $9 for it! I think it would be worth the time to grab a full sized pie - but don't buy the minis as they're not worth the money for a couple bites.

I hadn't been in the farmer's market for awhile so when I went in yesterday I was so excited to see you guys there! The girl who was working was so nice- i had a maple tart, it was delicious. Just a question though- are you guys considering sellig your bread there in the near future?? The dundurn location is a bit out of the way for us east enders and the market is a great spot for a quick pick up (especially for those who work downtown)!
