Went here on a Sunday night with a group of 4 for a friend's birthday. The food was really good as well as the service. Only downfall is the decor. It looked dated and could use a reno.
Was here with my wife on a Friday night in July and it was fairly busy but the service was fantastic. Deborah did an amazing job! I had the pescatore spicy and it was fantastic. My wife had a calabrese pizza and although was a bit over cooked to her liking, did enjoy it. Definitely a hidden gem on rymal.
Excellence. We found Romano's by accident and I was skeptical. I don't like trying new restaurants as they've all been a huge disappointment lately.
We tried Romano's early 2013 and now it's our go to restaurant.
Always courteous servers who are very patient and helpful. I ask lots of questions. They know their food, wine and desserts. I've never had any issues.
I've had several items on the menu and I love them all.
Great atmosphere for a romantic evening; very cozy.
Our favourite place for every special occasion or just a night out.

Ethan. I went to Romano's with my wife last weekend for a night out. Was welcomed as we entered and seated right away. This was our first time at this restaurant but it was well rated from our friends. We now know why our friends suggested it, the service was great and the food was amazing. We found the prices reasonable and the food was all made fresh that day!
The manager came by our table and made sure everything was alright, nice to see they care enough to come by and talk to you.
Will be returning and suggesting to more of our friends!
I was at the restaurant last night for dinner. The server seated us at our table and left without saying much. Someone took our drink order about 15 minutes later and the server seemed like she wasn't really "there" ... She didn't have great table service at all (didn't chat with us at all). After bringing our bottle of wine, she spilt some on the table as she was pouring and didn't seem to care; she didn't even clean it up. Food came out quickly and was delicious but the server didn't do a quality check for the apps or entrees and besides dropping the good off she did not check on us at all. Took ten minutes to get her attention so we could get the bill. The food was amazing, the atmosphere is really great as well but the service wasn't great.
Once you try it, you will become a regular. Wow what great food, so fresh and most everything is homemade. The waitstaff are so friendly, making our experience one to remember. I can't believe I have not gone to this place in the past but now I will be returning many times. Trust me, try it and you will become a regular.

Best Italian in the City!. We have been coming to Romano's Ristorante for just over a year now. The food and the service are absolutely top notch.
The quality of the food and the taste is the best that we've ever had when it comes to Italian food in this city. We come with our 2 small children (3 and 1) and they are always taken care of. It's hard to find a nice restaurant that is so accomodating to families, but this one is great.
Recently (just before Christmas) we ordered take out - the Chicken Parm and Arancini with a Pizza to share. This was enough to feed all of us. Huge portion sizes. Take out was great, but certainly not the same experience as dining in.
For anyone looking for authentic Italian with the best service - Look no further!
Just finished a beautiful meal tonight. we had a large group and the service was great. If you are in the mood for some good italian food this is the place to go.
We went to Romano's Ristorante, an Italian restaurant in Hamilton where my cousin works in the kitchen. I love good Italian food, so I was excited to try it out.
I started with a side House salad which came drizzled with balsamic vinegar and an olive oil based dressing on the side. I could taste the quality in both the balsamic and the olive oil, which makes such a difference.
Love it. Solid Italian food. Great price point and great portions. Have no complaints.
Absolutely the best Linguine Pescatore in Hamilton. Perfect place for a casual dinner, date night or a celebration.

Fantastic food. And so much of it. The fried shrimp and calamari are all I need in this life. Service was decent. We were a large party so it can get a little overwhelming, but they were pretty on top of it, if not a little slow at times. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired.
We stopped in for an early dinner. The place was empty but we were spoken to immediately and seated. We had a terrific server (sorry, forgot her name) but she was friendly, helpful and pleasant. The appetizer and wine came out fast and delicious. We had the meatballs and Chianti, both were great. My wife had pizza which she loved and I had spicy seafood linguine. Excellent meal. Highly recommended.
