The staff is absolutely amazing! And the food lives up to the service. I can always count on them for a safe happy environment where the food is made with love! I also like that I can go to a place and get my moneys worth. The food is greatly priced for the amount you receive I almost always have left overs. It’s deff a place you can go get a bite to eat and enjoy good company :)
We were visiting Niagara Falls from Seattle, WA and found this place in Hamilton that got great reviews. We were pretty sure we were in the wrong neighborhood when, voila, there it was. Good thing they have a big sign! We walked into a friendly, bustling cafe and happened to have a choice of seats. (this was not the case 5 minutes later as it was completely full) Our server was quick, and helpful with the menu. I would guess that based on what we got and what I saw others get that the entire menu is good. We were very pleased with our Eggs Benedict Florentine and Veggie Omelet. Good coffee too! Wish this cafe was in our neighborhood.
The food is amazing and great portions (you won't leave hungry). A cozy and friendly place you won't regret stopping in 😊

I went there recently and was pleasantly surprised by the layout. Seemed a bit whimsical with the fishing theme for a breakfast specialty restaurant. I was fine with it. I arrived early to avoid a potential rush of other starving folks. The food...I had ordered a 3 egg omelette "veggy" with hash browns and toast. It was good! My compliments to the chef! Food wasn't greasy or over cooked. I didn't even have to wait very long for it to arrive. I will definitely have to visit there again!
My advice, go early and enjoy the food and tip well!
We go here a lot, my wife and I, and we have s lot of friends who go there all the time as well. The service is great and the staff is so friendly. They make you feel right st home. As far as the food goes, it is such a good value for the money and we haven’t found anything yet that they haven’t cooked properly. The portions are terrific!!
Yesterday was our first visit to 2 Cougars for me and 2 friends. From the moment we walked in the service was friendly and attentive. The food was hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely return!

Classic Hamilton dinner
I've always driven by this place and never thought I'd go in but I'm sure glad I did! It's small but homey. The staff is very nice and if you go early enough it doesn't take too long to get served. The skillet breakfast was amazing (the hash browns alone are to die for!!) but I had to take most of it home since it is a very large portion. I'll definitely be going back.

The best brunch in Hamilton!. Food is fast and yummy. Staff is pleasant and fun. Love the Eggs Florentine and home fries. Skillet breakfast is unbelievably huge and practically has an entire pig on the plate! Coffee is as good as it gets in a diner. We return monthly!
No Cougars to be found. We had lunch there and were disappointed that there were no cougars there! the place was full of a bunch of old guys.
Service was speedy and the portions were a good size. Nothing to write home about, typical pub grub.
Very good food and staff is very friendly..... Just takes them a VERY long time to get to your table...
