Regarding the other mainly negative reviews posted on here in the past couple of months: Although true that the service definitely has room for improvement, I had a fantastic time here this past Saturday for my birthday dinner. Our server Sebastian was very courteous, explaining to us that since it was rush hour, there would be a bit of a wait for our food, which we definitely appreciated and had no problem at all with - we know that the food is made from scratch.
Despite the dinner rush, we were seated almost immediately with our party of 6 (after actually having dinner reservations and being more than a hour early), were served our drinks from the bar very promptly, had our entrees served much more quickly than expected, our water was refilled constantly, and I actually got a free slice of cake for my birthday!
Thank you for the great food and service - please continue improving on this, even during slower times. I know how easy it can be to slip up, being a server for 3 years, but It will keep customers like us coming back. :)
Went friday night at supper time and it was very busy. We were met instantly by the most beautiful and gracious ladies. Although they apologized that the wait time would be 10 to 15 minutes we were seated in about 1 minute. Our meal was a burrito and chimichangas and it didn't take long to come out. I had the red sangria and It is the best ever at Mesa. The service, the food and drink is by far the best ever. I can't wait to go back. My boyfriend has been there several times and he gives it a 5 star.
This place was awesome! Thank you to our waiter Sebastian for helping us make our food choices! Quick and amazing service from the cooking staff and the waiter! Definitely will be going back!
The food here is incredible! If you are going on a busy night I suggest making a reservation, then you don't have to wait for a table. The margaritas were made in restaurant and so delicious, they make their own tortilla chips and everything, all the food was amazing. I honestly can't think of one bad thing to say. Yes, it takes longer to get served because there are only two servers and it's a busy place, but we weren't even bothered by it! We had great food and great conversation so it didn't upset us at all. I'm going again this weekend!
Food was exceptional. I had high expectations after obsessing over their insta and facebook photos. Hot sauce is actually HOT. Red wine sangria was addictive. Tacos with corn tortillas were AMAZING! Didnt have to wait for a table and service was good. Only complaint was that the heat could have been turned up a bit. Will definitely be back!
In my opinion it is the best Mexican restaurant in Hamilton. Authentic fresh dishes with so many options. Great service from the hostess to wait staff etc. Can't wait to go back again!!
Food is absolutely delicious ! I'm vegan and this was the first time I've had cactus and absolutely loved it. Its Nicely mixed with sauteed onions and green peppers.The food is Fresh, good size portions and decent prices. Don't know why everyone says the service is slow cause the food came quite fast and actually appreciated not feeling rushed. Definitely will be recommending to others and returning myself. P.s. the Horchatta is DELICIOUS ;)
I can’t even find the words to describe how amazing this place is. Food is fresh and makes my tummy so happy lol. Service is top notch and super friendly!
Good food, friendly staff. Was greeted at the entrance with a big smile and eagerness to serve. I will be returning to try the rest of the menu (Despite the fact that I have to drive over 1hr to get there!!)
It's the best food in Hamilton. Service is great The burritos are amazing I just had one and I'm thinking about going back for another. I've had dreams about there burritos.
Service was welcoming. Food and drinks were served promptly. Waitress and host were very nice. Hats off to the chef. Food was delicious and very filling. Overall atmosphere was comforting and music was fun and at a good volume. I will recommend and go again to try something else.
