Hands down best pasta ever had in Hamilton. The menu was a fixed Christmas menu that had local dishes available for a limited time. I enjoyed a pesto dish that was creamy, flavorful, buttery & the perfect texture. I recommend definitely giving this beautiful restaurant a shot. We did enjoy this as a birthday occasion as it is on the higher end of pricing.

Is nice when you can go to a restaurant and have what feels like a home cooked meal. We had our special event there this weekend and it was all excellent from the handmade ravioli, mussels, and the lamb shank with everything in between. The staff is fantastic and the chef really knows his craft. Can’t wait to go back for date night soon.

Great food, terrible service. My fiancé is pregnant, our experience started out with no toilet paper in the woman’s bathroom. Told staff, they did not care. Stood at the desk for 15 minutes before we were greeted and taken to our table. Drinks didn’t arrive, we had to ask another server for our drinks, then our server brought our drinks to the wrong table. It was not busy, only a few other tables. Food was very good but mains took over an hour and forty five minutes. The food when it arrived was great, but the service was awful, much better Italian restaurants in Hamilton.

Very nice place with delicious food. We chose here as our wedding reception and Mark helped our plan and menu. During the pandemic our plans were about to be cancelled, but Mark and his great team helped us to be able to go through. Appreciate with mark and La Piazza Allegra crews with all their dedication and professional attitude!

La Piazza is the best Italian restaurant, if not the best restaurant period in Hamilton.The food is consistently good and the portions are large. I have never been disappointed dining here. It is my wife and I's favourite restaurant in Hamilton and for this reason, we had them cater our wedding last week as well. Mark and his team did an unbelievable job. Our guests said it was the best food they have eaten at a wedding. The food was one of the highlights of our night and his staff were very courteous and friendly to our guests. I highly recommend them!

Great Californian red wine, amazing Cappelletti with crab & spinach in a herb cream sauce (seriously recommend). Must note the Caesar salad was very tasty with pancetta. Next time I must make room for a cannoli. ��

I had an opportunity to use La Piazza to cater a Retirement Party I was planning and it was worth every penny! I simply told them the number of people and the fact that we wanted finger foods and left the rest of the planning to them. I can’t tell you how many people commented on how amazing the food was. It was incredible! And made the planning of the party that much easier on me. I would definitely use them again and recommend their services to anyone hosting an event!

We had our sons wedding catered at our house and they did a great job! The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. We had so many compliments on the food and the top notch service. I would have to say this was the best service I have had at an event. I would highly recommend Mark and his wonderful staff.

We were greeted very warmly with a sincere & genuine big smile within seconds upon entering La Piazza Allegra by Fiden who was our very knowledgeable and hospitable server for our enjoyable visit. Delicious baked in house bread with 2 different types for kids and adults, easy to read uncluttered well balanced menu with something for everyone, generous portion sizes priced just right, with a blueberry tea available with dessert, each meal exceeded our expectations & satisfaction. Been to many restaurants and had similar dishes. But ......These dishes had pizzazz and it was an euphoric experience. Pasta del mar and the cappelletti were extremely delicious. Chef Mark has got something great here. Will be bringing back some really hard core food lovers after our visit. Since my posting of this place I've had numerous food lovers call and text me, about how the experience was. 10/10 I said wait staff were super helpful and polite. Very clean and pleasant. Great wine lists too. What got me was the plating and how so beautifully done and the flavours were just exploding. I was super happy to stop by and the other dinner guests I brought were astounded as well. Let's not forget the value of the dishes! Super impressive 10/10 Thanks Chef Mark and crew. Salute ! We had plans to check out Mezcals for the first time. It was my husbands birthday and we were meeting friends. When our friends arrived at Mezcals they had no room and they don't take reservations so being from out of town were shit out of luck and had to find another place to go. Our friend called La Piazza, and they took us right away no questions asked. When we walked in we were greeted like we were old friends. The atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. Our waitress Fee, or Fea was AMAZING! 20 stars for her service we just loved her! Give her a raise good customer service is hard to get these days! I will definitely be back and have already been telling my friends and clients about the special gem! Oh and the food it out of this world incredible! Thank you for making out night special oh and they gave my husband a Cosmo on the house for his birthday! Will be back for sure!
