We enjoyed the bright spacious vibe and the social enterprise dimension. The menu has something for everyone with lots of fresh healthy options. The baked goods looked amazing but I was trying to resist.
I had a salad and friends ordered sandwiches. Everyone was pleased and agreed they would return. Buy a button ..its win-win!

This place is fantastic. It was busy when I went, and it took a long time before it was possible to place an order, but the prices are great and the servers are friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious. Not huge portions, but a lot for the money. Even the $1 coffee was great. Nice building, too. Its also awesome that you can buy buttons to help pay for someone else's meal. I'll definitely be returning.

I went here for lunch with my husband and a friend. It sure is a hoping place.

Atmosphere- There are quite a few wooden long tables and chairs and benches ( bring a cushion for comfort if this is an issue). It is an open airy space with lots of light from large windows on 2 sides of room. today 2 tables looked to be filled with young people using laptops ( I guess free wifi is more important than comfort) This is a non profit place with volunteers and a button program. When you order your meal you can buy a button for $1 to allow someone without $ to use it for anything on the menu. What a great idea! when you go in please note the button jar is not to be confused with the tip jar for the servers here. There is also and endless supply of glasses and water at a self sere area at counter- I love it! I drink a lot of water and sometimes i dont want to ask the waitress for my 3rd fill up.

Food- Today it was simple.1) A home baked granola bar- Really tasty and moist. 2) Grilled cheese with carmelized onions- very nice and they are not stingy with the cheese. 4) roast beef sandwich- this had arugula, cheese, and pickled onions on it to add to the flavour. Really nice 5) ham and Swiss cheese with a unique mustard- tasty. All sandwiches came with a slice of dill pickle.

Service- This place was very busy but the staff behind the counter kept up with the flow. They looked to be a happy group as they processed everyone through. Tables are cleared quickly and your food is delivered to you in a very reasonable time.

Impression- I like the place for a quick stop for breakfast or lunch. The seats here are not for a leisurely stay ( unless wifi is your goal) The only thing I would love added is carbonated drinks. I happen to like diet coke with my sandwich and tea or juice just wont cut it. I will be back with friends for sure.

This place is the kind of restaurant you have to frequently visit no matter where you reside in the city. Excellent service, food, prices and atmosphere. Whether I am paying cash or using the button system I am treated the exact same and never dissatisfied AT ALL.

Super nice place, good price for what it is. The local community’s store just hits different. Will be back! Be aware that you are still required to wear a mask in here.

Highly recommend this local gem. Very Williamsburg NY vibes here. The food is delicious, service on point and prices are so reasonable. I had their porridge, granola, and cappuccino so far and impressed with all. Wish I didn't live so far else I'd be here every day for my breakfast run. On my 2nd visit I learned that this place is non-profit and allows someone to buy someone else's meal and believes in providing access to good food for everyone. I'm so humbled by this initiative and never explored a place like this before. Looking forward to buying some buttons on my next visit that someone in need may use 🙏🏽

Best pancakes ! Love the button system even more here, it's amazing that this establishment gives back to the community by helping feed the not so fortunate by providing them a decent meal even thou they do not have the funds for it.

The food is good, they have healthy options for good prices, and the button jar to pay it forward is cute but also a great way for people to help out anonymously. There's an all gender bathroom and it's wheelchair accessible. The building is gorgeous, and the decor is all different, but it goes together. Kind of like all the people that gather there.

Great options at affordable prices. Service is pretty good, and the option to donate buttons for other patrons to put towards their meals is amazing. Lots of communal seating is available to encourage getting to know your neighbour. Highly recommend at least trying once.

Amazing food, superb quality, unbelievable pricing! Ordered peppermint mocha (made in-house) and a breakfast sandwich. The quality, service as well as the serving size was absolutely perfect. A must try place for people visiting Hamilton, rare to spot such a place!
