The wife and I went on our Valentine’s Day dinner date Saturday afternoon and had an exceptional time with a delicious meal. This is our second Valentine’s Day dinner date at Aberdeen Tavern and it has become a gem of a restaurant for us on special occasions. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and a superb kitchen. Had the feature special, as show in the photo, was divine.

Went here for Valentines. Nice presentation of food but the mains (lamb and steak options) were a bit underwhelming. Service was a little slow but server was very nice. The app and desert were very good tho!

My wife and I attended the tavern for dinner and we were both treated to an exceptional restaurant experience. The server, Patrick was knowledgeable and friendly. We placed trust in the servers when selecting our beverages to accompany our food and they made the right choices! What makes the Aberdeen Tavern the best restaurant in Hamilton is their updated spring menu. Both meals were presented beautifully and the textures portion and layers of flavours masterfully treaded a line between tradition and creativity. I want to return for another meal soon and I will be bringing my children this time who I am sure will find a feast at this establishment as well. A classy spot to treat you and your loved ones or to impress any dining companions.

A very different kind of eating venue. Real candles, cloth napkins, dimly lit. Was a bank originally, the vault was used as a private dining area at one point which sounds cool. The food and service was excellent. Very tasty and friendly. The steak melted in my mouth like butter.cooked to perfection. Good wine and beer selection. Parking on street, no lots nearby.
Went back for brunch recently. Great breakfast sandwich and a glass of cotes du Rhone . Made for another memorable experience in dundern.

This was a long time coming, in that the four of us knew it was there and never got around to it, until Friday eve. LOL Pleasant surprise that Jesse was our waiter and I hadn't seen him in years. This was a real example of how you run a dining establishment! Apparently the menu was recently changed so dumb us never got to try the original one!!! The food was excellent, we all had different items, Jesse's recommendations were excellent. There was so much food from the Braised Pork Ragout, I couldn't finish! My wife tried the burger, rated awesome and our friends loved the pasta dishes!! Ambiance was a 10, service was unreal, the man is just good at this! Food was fantastic....we'll never go back....unless we're famished and can eat more! LOL Awesome job folks. You should teach classes on dining!!! Thanks so much and especially to Jesse and the host of folks looking after us so well!!! 10/10

Seated right away. The server was very friendly and the service was great. The food is amazingly good. Love the atmosphere. My daughter could not have picked a better spot for a father's day brunch. Will be back. Oh Yeah.

Been there for dinner and it was a great experience. First time going there for breakfast and it was totally off the the charts. Definitely coming back for breakfast just alone for the scones is enough to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first Brunch experience at the Aberdeen Tavern yesterday.
We like the simple and elegant decor; the cloth napkins and classic silverware; the delicious Egg Benedict and Peameal Bacon Sandwich. As well, the service was friendly and professional. We'd recommend Aberdeen Tavern to our friends and family! � � �

We had a lovely dinner with friends from out of town. The atmosphere was electric and the food was delicious. We arrived about 10 minutes ahead of our friends and while we were waiting, we were not approached by our server. My only suggestion is not to wait too long to see if a customer would like to order a drink or wait for the rest of their party. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Made our Anniversary dinner so amazingly special, from the surprise Prosecco to the cute sparkler on our dessert, the exceptional service is bar none.
