It was an excellent choice to come here after an 18 kilometre hike in the area. The restaurant is nicely designed and the food is superb. The tomato soup is a must. We will definitely be returning. UPDATE: We returned only 2 weeks later and again loved our meals.

We were there last night for my birthday dinner (family of four). We chose this cute little place based on the great reviews and I can honestly say it did not disappoint! We loved everything about it - the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great and the people and service were wonderful and very personal! We had a great experience at Cascata. We were happy to find that we could be seated right away when we showed up around 5pm on a Friday. Our server was attentive and the food was delicious. The single portion of fish with the fish and chips was generous and the fries were great. The boneless chicken "wings" with bacon bourbon BBQ sauce were a great texture with moist meat on the inside and a crispy outside coated in tangy sauce. The cocktail with Bombay gin and Prosecco was also excellent!

I just love this restaurant! Everything is absolutely delicious and homemade. You can taste the quality and care put into each dish. The sweet potato ravioli and the honey walk flatbread are out of this world!

A large group of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, huge portions and good prices. The live entertainment, Jocelyn and Scott, were amazing and really added to the atmosphere on the patio. I highly recommend Cascata.

It was a boring day and decided to go for a drive without any agenda. we took some turns and reached carlisle. There we found this amazing bistro.
We are vegetarians and the staffs were so helpful, they customize our orders. The food was heavenly and literally melts our soul. We could feel the freshness and the quality of the ingredients

Great staff, good atmosphere, food is subpar at best. I’ve tried them three times over the last 4 years, I’ve had the burger twice and even tried their pizza, Caesar salad and poutine. I love everyone of these dishes but I could not finish any of the meals I’ve gotten from here. Great ingredients but horrible execution, their pork/beef blend in the burger is a mistake. Their poutine looks amazing but hard to finish because of the bland taste and their pizza is at best a 5/10. Even though I live 2 minutes away from this place, I won’t be wasting my money here.
Again the staff are amazing but the food I’ve had has been bad, it’s been 2 months since I ordered from them last and upon a friend bringing up this restaurant via conversation. I felt the urge to come here and leave a review. Lots of potential but some of the staple meals need work to say the least.

I am pleased to see Cascata is doing well at this location as many have previously failed. But it should be no surprise given their interesting menu and the quality of food. And let's not forget the excellent and attentive service. We shall definitely return.

For the past few years, we zoomed by this place on our bikes when cycling through the area. By chance, just recently, we walked in for a pint and a quick bite. Local microbrew on tap! Local fresh ingredients! Friendly management and staff! And a menu filled with a variety of awesome selections. The appetizer platter was off the chain! Wings, fried ravioli, breaded shrimp, and calamari? Sold!!! Beat salad and Cascata burger to die for. We can't wait to be back! Thank you to Angela and her staff for a fantastic experience. Can't stop talking about Cascata to all our peeps.

All the staff is so friendly. We’ve had excellent food each time! I recommend the Mac and cheese balls and the burger!!!! We had an awesome time on the patio for my birthday the other night. We love this place!!

Had a Great night with friends, I'm pretty sure we closed the place. Thank you to the owner for entertaining our ladies night and not rushing us out. Meal and dessert were fantastic. I have to ask what that Malbec was,it was tasty!

Super happy with the service and food. What I didn’t like was when the OWNER came and asked if she could take away one of the high chairs that we reserved in the middle of our meal. Then proceeded to ask if we reserved them... we have twins we ALWAYS reserve seats for them. Then she tell us that she took ALL reservations and didn’t hear that... not impressed.
This was MY Mother’s Day meal. And it was wonderful.... until we asked who it was that asked us to give up a seat was the actual OWNER... im shocked.
Been wanting to come to this bistro for ages. Will only return because of the service not the owner.
