I'm a brand new member and I was worried it would be snobby (South End), but everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming! My lunch at the dining room was fabulous!

Absolutely love the Waeg! We've had the pleasure of photographing at this venue for weddings on a few occasions and it has a really lovely and unique stone staircase for an outdoor ceremony and we love itttttt. And it's by the ocean and super beautiful anytime of year. The staff are lovely and we've never had on of our couples say one negative thing about this place. 10/10 Fox and Fellow Photography Approved!
Excellent family-friendly facility that offers swimming, tennis, camps for kids, playgrounds, sandboxes, sailing, and more. Memberships are pricy however given all there is to do, it's well worth it.
Just a gorgeous location! they have volleyball courts, tennis courts, multiple pools and they have socially distanced restrictions so that you can enjoy your day as safe as possible they also have food on-site!!

Been with this club over 20 years I'm 37 and was a member since my early teens. My father and I swim there every night. The place has recently got a more competent manager and the food selection and service aswell as the quality is increasing although I don't dine there. Club is good only in summer though as there are no winter indoor pools or activities which would be useful. Previous management though some had been good was often money saving which is a sensible idea although the place was considered 10 years ago one of these upper class clubs with poor overpriced food and very seasonal use and to many was either not worth joining or keeping the membership and this caused managers to have to save money on the facilities. Though improving lots could be improved however for year round service. For tennis however one may get more of the year when it's feasible other than swimming as one can avail of cooler weather for it. Also this club is much cheaper than it would be in a larger city like Toronto or New York or somewhere else in the world as this is Nova Scotia. I would try to make it more year round compatible though than it already is
The Waegwoltic is an extremely family friendly place to bring your children. We really enjoy swimming in the pools. The staff in all areas of the club are fantastic. When we pull through the gates it feels like we are away on a vacation resort. It is truly a treasure to have this resort like facility in the middle of the south end. I highly recommend it to any families.

We attended a wedding last night at the venue. The ceremony was great and the food was excellent. Caleb was an amazing bartender and server. He definitely made the wedding a 5 star experience!
Wonderful pools nice and cool. Snack bar was fresh and filling. Love the curry mayo. Friendly staff and attentive lifeguards. I cant wait to go back. Thank you😃
This place is great, especially if you have kids and like tennis or swimming. Some of the change room facilities need updating. I'm not a member though, and sometimes it's annoying how often people say "you should join!"
Love the boardwalk and the restaurant. The wait staff are excellent at the restaurant. There are always lots and lots of kids on week days in the summer.
Some weekend nights they have decent buffets.
