The Tonkotsu Ramen is delicious. They use restaurant made noodles that were very good. Very friendly and personal staff. Recommend this spot.
I always come here for their Tonkotsu ramen because of their thick and tasty broth. The owner is very nice. Do expect a little bit slow service because the owner take care everything from cooking to serving.

I've tried numerous sushi places around HRM and B-well pulls it off better than most. The rice is perfect. The ingredients are excellent. The quality of the rolls is really impressive (and they're assembled with care).

So glad to have found this place on New Years day! Best veggie tempura ever! And the deep-fried tofu was great too. All of the vegan options are clearly indicated on the menu. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended for vegans and vegetarians. Will definitely be going back soon.
The best sushi we had during our summer in Halifax. Kids loved the tempura and sweet potato maki. We loved the rock’n roll and Alaska roll. Unagi was also very good. Very fresh ingredients. Others may have more Japanese names, but this place had the best Japanese food we tried in town.
I've only ever come here for the ramen, which is fantastic, until just recently trying the sushi. Which is also fantastic. Great prices, great service, laid back spot. One of my favourites in Halifax for sure!
I'm a regular customer. I love the sushi options and the food tastes great. There's tea and coffee, juice, or water. Reasonably priced, locally owned and operated. The place itself could probably seat about 20-25 people, so it's small compared to other restaurants, but it's cozy.
Your meal will almost always be prepared by the owner. He cooks everything, to order, from scratch, every day. A few years ago b-well started serving ramen. Hands down this is the best tonkatsu ramen I have ever had. One of my favourite spots in Halifax.
Stumbled upon this place by accident and it was a delight. We had sushi and chatted with the owner. Super friendly, a very chill vibe - and we loved the ambient tunes. Overall we were pleasantly surprised and can see why they've got loyal customers.
This place is quiet relaxing and enjoyable to be at. Me and my other half just walked in for sushi and it was both quick and delicious. The best sushi in Halifax in my opinion. I can't wait to go there again.
It says a lot about the restaurant when the owner gets excited when we walk in. Thanks for having vegan options that are delicious. We always order a ton of rolls and I appreciate the time it takes to make us such amazing lunches.
5 years and I haven't written a review of B-well!? Personally I think it's the best ramen in town. It's warm and friendly and I've never been disappointed. Love me some B-well.
Tasty food with great service, and the price was good as well. Unfortunately, this place is not accessible for wheelchair users as there are three steps at the entrance in addition to one step inside the cafe going to the tables area. Generally speaking, this place is worth visiting for sushi lovers
Best sushi in Halifax. Although their menu is maybe not as diverse as some other places, nobody does the classic maki rolls better than the B-Well. Get the 'Rock N' Roll,' you won't regret it.
One of my favourite sushi places in the city! I've liked everything I've ever ordered, good for eat in and take out. Incredibly affordable. Now to try the Ramen!
