Food and staff are always a pleasure. I don't get here often, when I do the staff behind the counter is usually the same, but whenever there is someone new they are always just a pleasant. Tried the chocolate Croissant today and it was delicious, as was the coffee.

This is a very cozy restaurant, the service is great, the mango chicken sandwich is tasty. Recommended!
Don't be scared by the fact that it's a cafe run by "just" a catering company--the food here is EXcellent, especially the pastries and other bakery items. This is a lovely small café with great coffee and amazing doughnuts (came back a second time for the cinnamon sugar)! Only tried the Caprese sandwich, but it was sublime so I bet all sandwiches are just as great. Friendly staff a bonus!
Best doughnuts I have ever had. Bought a box of 20, and everyone loved them. Will be going back next time we're in Halifax! Also a very cozy atmosphere, good place to relax with a coffee, doughnut, and book.
Ordered the princess Martha cake and donuts for my daughters "donut grow up" first bday, the bakers did such a great job with the cake and donuts. The cake is expensive but worth every penny, everyone loved it. Thanks scanway for making my little one first b day a memorable one.
Amazing baked goods, no one will ever dispute that! Specialty beverages, on the other hand, are lackluster, sometimes quite disappointing in fact. Serving staff are sometimes slow and unable to handle high traffic volumes, making this place somewhat hit and miss for a quick latté.
I go there often and their baked goods are so good - as a special treat I buy a dozen doughnuts. Their espresso is delicious too :)
Lunch is great 10% student discount helps and picking up a loaf of delish bread. To top it off there doughnuts are amazing.
Great spot for that lunchtime meal. Coffee and sandwiches are fantastic and OMG the doughnuts are amazing. Staff was also very friendly.

Best coffee and donuts in the city!!! If you Havn't been there in a while come back and try it again they have stepped up their game in the past year!
