Smiling Goat - Halifax - Photo album

Excellent little coffee bar with nice interior and decent seating.
Incredible cortados! Good coffee at a good price, great location. Great company for great times!
Pretty standard waterfront coffee house. Staff is professional and polite. Food and drink is good but expected. Didn't blow me away, but made be comfortable. Prices aren't cheap, but not ridiculous. Would definitely go back.
There's nothing like a good espresso, and the Smiling Goat will not disappoint. I realize they serve a variety of drinks and foods, but I've only gone for the espresso so far. I usually just get a double espresso-of-the-day and add a little cream and sweetener (sacrilegious or sacri-delicious?
There's a wide menu here which is greatly appreciated as you're able to visit at any time of the day and get exactly what you want. It's sophisticated yet cozy, and is very easy to lose an afternoon sitting around, enjoying the ebb and flow of the patrons. If not for anything mentioned above, defini
Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, nice view of the waterfront. I particularly liked the soft music they were playing while I did my studying. Coffee was good but a little pricey.
Coffee is really good and so is the breakfast sandwich. Staff was not overly friendly and service was a bit slow, but overall still an enjoyable place. The view from the front widows is lovely with a view of the harbour.
Coffee is fantastic. It's pretty quiet after 5:30pm usually. Great for reading, work, or catching up with friends. The Nanaimo bar is huge and very rich and their eggnog flatwhite changed my life. Also: craft beer and wine happy hour. Boom. Productivity increased exponentially. They will soon beg
Was in town visiting from Toronto, and a local referred me to the Smiling Goat Coffeehouse and it did not let me down. Went in for a coffee and a bit and the desserts were amazing. The staff were polite and greeted me as I walked in. Great coffeehouse definetly reccoment
Really great coffee, and a surprisingly good place to have a beer during happy hour everyday. The food quality can be a bit uneven, but the panini of the day is usually pretty good.
The latte was perfect. The almond croissant more like a danish. Filling was good, but pastry was doughy & thick. Nice atmosphere and friendly barista
Friendly staff, who were helpful too. I only had a drip coffee, which was from Mexico, and it was good. I've enjoyed baked goods from here too in the past. Nice location.
