Sugah Confectionery & Ice Cream Emporium - Halifax - Photo album

Excellent location down by the waterfront to grab some sweets or ice cream. Prices were reasonable for the premium location and there were tables and seats out front for guests. Lots of unique candy including childhood favourites such as a push pop. There was even a hot pickle in a bag called Hot Ma
Highly recommend their rum cake special: rum cake with your choice of ice cream (I went with coffee), whipped cream and caramel sauce. Their rum cake was soft and flavourful and comes in 3 varieties.
Ok, bear with me here as I know this is a “love it, or hate it” flavour of ice-cream, so much so that the crew at Sugah even tried to get me to sample prior to buying but I was and am all in on Moon Mist Growing up in Ontario we had “Dickee Dee “ ice cream carts and they offered a purple baseball g
The Ice Cream was fantastic! The staff was quick to help me decide the flavors I wanted. But the best part is the their location, you get to have a scoop in the sun near the blues
Ice cream was really good! Great to have while strolling along the boardwalk. Huge candy selection as well but we didn't get any.
I got a slice a slice of rum cake and the flavors were great, staff was very kind and helpful aswell. Got a milkshake to and it was great you could choose any flavor ice cream they had for the milkshake
Great candy & ice cream shop. Cozy & looked after. Fair prices. Your partner will not be disappointed if you take them here.
Great little candy shop with lots of the old favourites plus some classic taffy.
Got salt water taffy that was pretty good. Loved the options available. Great gift to bring home from trip.
Great spot for ice cream and treats. Helpful and friendly staff.
The ice cream was delish, the staff are extrmely sweet (and willing to indulge endless inane questions) and I never would have thought of fudge as an ice cream mix-in, but my life is now better for it. Perfect treat for a walk down the harbour.
Amazing ice cream. Had lactose free and sorbet options. Fun candy too.
I tried the salted caramel. It was okay, a bit too sweet and not a rich enough base compared to other ice creams I enjoy. Cute place and good service though.
We went in for good icecream and good icecream is what we got..but lots of it. We got the hunky dory in a waffle and it turned out to be too much for one person. If someone has dentures or is not fond of eating sticky stuff then stay away from adding butter crunch as a mix to your icecream. The icec
Got ice cream for the whole family here while strolling along the waterfront. Better prices and bigger scoops than Cows further down the boardwalk. Browsed around in the shop but didn't get any candy (didn't see anything special). They had fudge and other menu items too.
Used to come here all the time, they have some fun mix ins and good flavours. I recall getting gummy bears hand paddled into some crisp vanilla ice cream, and when those little guys get a little firm from the chilled ice cream, it does certainly add to the pleasant mouth feel. Unfortunately, it's p
Delicious and very affordable ice cream and sweets on Halifax's boardwalk.
Great place to find a variety of candy. Loved seeing some of my favorites from when I was a child. Everyone needs to try the salt water toffee. They have lots of flavors and best of all you can pick your favorites.
