The Arms - Halifax - Photo album

We stopped by here with a group of 8 and had the best service! Their nachos were one of the best in the city with a big portion. Our waitress was very attentive and offered great service. Others had the chicken sandwich, which was huge and had great flavour.
The food was absolutely amazing. The vibe was cool but a little cold (from the AC). The baked brie was 10/10 and we both had the pork belly and scallops 10/10. The server was fine but nothing memorable. Limited water refills and didn’t ask if we wanted another beverage. Would definitely go back.
Great pub inside The Lord Nelson Hotel. Opens late with a variety of tap options. Spacious large dining area. Serving breakfast all the way till late night suppers. Service was great, food was delicious. They changed the Tuna Tartare a bit and instead of the crostini it's now a fried rice piece th
Amazing food, super chill laid back atmosphere- perfect for my anxiety (we ate here at 7pm on a Saturday) Styles was amazing! So kind, and made sure we had everything we needed!!
The food here is pretty good but nothing to die for and the setting is very distinct and unique. The service was okay as the waitress seemed to busy chatting with other tables than taking our orders.
Came on a very rainy monday night as most restaurants are closed on Monday. First time here despite being born and raised here. Had trouble ordering as the menu had several options I wanted to try. I'll be back for chowder, nachos, lobster roll as all have great reviews. I had the pot pie which was
The place was quiet when we went so the atmosphere wasn't great. The steak was average. I am a fan of tenderloin and they serve striploin, not the same quality. However, my wife had a ceasar salad and asked for scallops on the side, that were not part of the meal, and they did add it.
The scallops were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The accompanying pork belly was dry and somewhat disappointing. The atmosphere was quiet and spacious and regal. Actually, it was a wonderful setting of the stage for our subsequent entertainment- DakhaBrakha at the Cohn. Which was a pinnacle of pinnac
Food was great, service was great - it felt a bit quiet when we were there, but overall lovely pub vibe..
Cor, Blimey! After a Judas Priest concert, we get to sleep in; followed by a British inspired breakfast; three words: pure comfort food. I personally had the protein bowl, and I couldn't stop saying 'Mmm'. Spicy sausage; two fried eggs, sweet potatoes; half of a fresh avocado; just the right mix; a
Always a memorable meal Have stayed at the Lord Nelson many times, been here for conferences too and I always make time to have a meal at the Arms. For conferences and meetings, this is THE place to have a drink. Bar takes their job seriously. Food is also very “non-pub” meaning not sloppy or gre
Great food for price. Room service was fast and the servings were large. Especially the nachos which could feed 3-4 people!
We were going to go to a highly rated restaurant in the area & due to the terrible rain we stayed in our hotel. We were very happy we did. From the moment our server Scotty greeted us we were more than happy with all of our decisions. Scotty was a pleasure as was the atmosphere and food and drink he
We had a good time there. Not busy as a hotel restaurant with a small, but dynamic menu. Sooooo much history in this building and the sailcloth drapes were nice touch. Food plated nicely and full flavoured and service was brilliant. Very nice!!
Our first morning in halifax, we had a lovely breakfast. I had the skittle my son had the eggs Benedict. Both absolutely delicious. Clean, classy & attentive staff.
Lovely ambience and excellent service. Bit pricy to have a meal there but it is comparable to any hotel bar in halifax. It's going for the "Olde english pub" vibe and is located inside the lord Nelson hotel. Small dinner menu, did not end up eating there as we wanted something less pricey. A pint of
