Bluenose 2 Restaurant - Halifax - Photo album

Food was good to try nothing like wow, we tried fish and chips and chowder with lobster sandwiches. Chowder was below avergar, but other food taste was ok bit expensive side.. but above all, servers and services were amazing....front of house rocks !!!
First time visiting Bluenose II Restaurant, and we will definitely be back! Kelsey was a charming delight, and the kitchen knows the best way to prepare an Eggs Benedict! Better than Lot6! Always a pleasure to visit the Bluenose Restaurant!
A local recommended this restaurant to me. I went twice while in Halifax. I enjoyed my first time there. Service was great! Loved the scallops with potatoes. I still think of the potatoes... The server was lovely and she was helpful with her recommendations. My 2nd time was not as good. Went for lun
We enjoyed going to this restaurant on a recent holiday in Halifax. I had scallops which were good - not that big though - we also ordered the salmon and the calamari- the calamari was great - the salmon was a little overcooked but tasty. We each had a drink from the bar which we found to be very re
Food is great and staff is amazing! Danielle was our server today and she made everything even better! :) We recommend the seafood platter and the creamy banana pie for dessert.
📍Bluenose II ⭐️8/10 Our first stop in Halifax was the Bluenose II Restaurant where we just had to try the lobster rolls! The fresh lobster and perfectly toasted buns made for a delicious meal, with the lettuce adding the perfect refreshing crunch. It comes with coleslaw and a choice of side. The f
This restaurant looks vintage and has been a staple in Halifax a long time. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and makes sure you have everything you need. They have local beers 🍻 which my husband tried it was called Frig Off 😆. The lobster roll I had and my husband had the clam
It is a place with many years in Halifax, breakfasts at a super affordable price. The place fills up fast. the friendly staff. The access area to the bathrooms is dirty and looks like a storage area. a peak old furniture and tiles.
The food was good. Very quick, tasty, and fairly priced. Service was meeting the bare minimum. The service was quick but the server never topped up our waters or even chatted with us. It was definitely efficient, but it felt like a get in and get out kind of dining experience. Then to have the lowes
Wow, i fell in love with this place. I ordered the lobster dinner, and it was super delicious! It cam with clam chowder which was rich and creamy! It also came with a side and i choose mash potato which was amazing! The other side dish we ordered calamari was also delicious. The dessert was also ver
Well priced seafood in a diner atmosphere. There are better restaurants in downtown Halifax but not at this price point.
We liked our visit. Dishes were good and tasty.
I recently visited Bluenose II in Halifax with my wife for a delightful lunchtime experience. This charming restaurant exceeded our expectations with its delectable seafood, cozy ambiance, and attentive service. First and foremost, the food at Bluenose II is a true delight for seafood lovers. We in
Excellent service, great food and a reasonable price! This restaurant has been in business since 1964.
Lobster is really good, but make sure to have the patience and energy for it. Overall, very very good place, the soup is good and the dessert is special (Canadian version of Mahlabia), which is rice pudding and cream. Great place overall and highly recommended!
It is a fine place but I left without understanding what all the buzz about this restaurant is about. The seafood platter was ordinary. Not the cheapest place either.
So happy we went here during my recent vacation to Halifax. We had the seafood chowder and the 2 piece fish and chips. The food was excellent and served hot and fast. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere! We will definitely return.
Absolutely freaking phenomenal. This is definitely my top 3 restaurants I've tried on my east coast trip (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, PEI)... possibly my very favourite. The fish chowder is to die for. The lobster roll was great - wonderfully cooked, fresh, buttery, generous amounts of lobster - but
Market price (March) full lobster dinner: $40. Good value considering the lobster roll is $30. Utilitarian diner. New England style clam chowder: good. Lobster: done right (boiled) with an offering of melted butter. Fries: average. Rice pudding: homemade, decent.
