The Old Triangle Irish Ale House - Halifax - Photo album

So good we came back twice! The food and service were absolutely incredible. We had the fish cakes, pastie and the pan fried haddock and everything was absolutely phenomenal. The mashed potatoes are cooked perfectly. A good selection of beers available. Our server Emily was an absolute gem and was s
Great bar that reminds me of a local pub back in Montreal! It's a little loud but then again it's a pub with music and people are having fun. The food is decent although my burger was a little dry and the Dublin pasties as well was dry. Drinks had been good so nothing to complain about that. The li
Just loved this Irish Pub.The vibe was so wonderful. Our server was amazing šŸ‘ and the live music took it to another level. The food was sooooo good and so affordable. A must visit in Halifax.
Friendly staff, amazing food, great atmosphere and awesome live music! Couldn't have asked for a better place to go during our stay. We met some amazing people here and shared great laughs. We had the fish and chips (best I've ever had,) the Ulster fry (my husband was thrilled to have a true taste o
It was the happening spot on a wet, foggy Saturday evening. Rugby was on, so it was a lively gathering šŸ˜€. Had spaghettini and it was goood šŸ‘šŸ¾. Just the right amount. Then had the Guiness Ginger cake with whiskey caramel sauce and served with 3 dollops of cream topped with blueberry jam. I never eat
Exactly what youā€™d expect from an Irish pub!Fun atmosphere, friendly service, booze and hearty food. We had a group of 4 (with a baby) and everyone had a good time. ā˜ŗļø They didnā€™t really advertise a lot of beers so canā€™t comment on the selection. But the propeller galaxy IPA was pretty good! In te
I canā€™t stop thinking about the Caesar salad from here. Itā€™s pricey ($18 I believe with no chicken) but the croutons alone make it worthwhile. And the chefs mix in the perfect amount of dressing. Honestly the best Caesar salad Iā€™ve had in Halifax so far, and thatā€™s saying a lot! The atmosphere and
We were in Halifax for the day on a cruise and popped in here for some Poutine and a local beer which were both excellent. Service was excellent as well as the staff attended to what looked like a busy lunch service with the cruise ships in ports. Will return here if ever in Halifax again.
Made reservations for 6 people - table was set up & ready when we got there. One downside was, I booked here because we checked the menu online & my sister wanted the seafood linguine that was advertised for $20. She was very disappointed when it was No longer on the menu! She settled for steak.
I love a pub that has live music playing, the loud buzzing chatter of happy customers, and the aroma of cooking food. Add in happy, friendly staff, good drinks and delicious food, it's an authentic Irish Pub experience you don't want to miss.
Great Ambience with live music performances(Plenty of seating space) and reliable, friendly service. The vegetarian burger was unfortunately not as good as my friend had hoped. Although I can definitely recommend their Footballs Club Sandwich. Dipping it in the hot sauce definitely made it not-so-cr
Service was good, waitress kept checking on us if we needed anything. Little bit of wait time since it was crowded on Friday night. Wings are a must try(5*). We ordered chicken n beef burgers, they were large and fulfilling in portion size, taste wasnā€™t so out of the world. I didnā€™t like the roasted p
Food tasted homemade and delicious. Beer was cold and the live music cant be beat. Also Thursday night bottle of Red wine -big friggin red for $25 !! Cost you $20 at NSLC. Excellent deal
Delicious food, lovely environment with the music. Lamb stew was amazing as well as the steak and mushroom dish!
Weā€™ve been in Halifax for a week and keep coming back to this spot. The live music at night is always fun and the food too! Itā€™s got a large patio outdoors and the service is always great. Weā€™ve had the mussels, liver and onions and the ploughmanā€™s platter. All delicious! Great local beer available
We got to Halifax late and happened to stumble upon this place. We are so happy that we did. It truly feels like an Irish pub and we had the pleasure of a live fiddle player who was amazing to hear. The service was quick and friendly. Their food was rightfully so the highlight. Their fish and chips
Friendly Irish Pub in the core of the downtown area. Excellent selection of beer choices and pub-style eats.
Excellent!!! Will miss this spot and consider relocating from Niagara Falls so we can visit and dine frequently šŸ˜‰šŸ¤© Fish bites blew our minds how good it was. We tried all three dips (curry mayo, lime aoili and tartar). Hard to pick a favourite. We had so much fun with the whiskey experience options
