Always quick service and the food is delicious. It was nice to see a huge selection of gluten-free food available as well. My favourite breakfast joint by far.
The service is always fast and friendly at Uptown Grill. Your coffee mug is never empty and the booths are nice and big to enjoy your meal in. I always come for the breakfast, but there are some yummy looking lunch options as well.

As a past employee of Uptown Grill, I can confidently say that the owners (David and Caroline) are the most friendly, welcoming and kind people I have ever worked for. They are caring individuals that go out of their way to help in any situation. Their food is exceptional and the experience is one to share. Please judge a restaurant by your own experiences, not others. The uptown sandwich is one to die for!

I very rarely write reviews for restaurants, but Uptown Grill has consistently been a great restaurant. The staff are always friendly and aware and even when it is really busy the food is out very quickly. This is my go to restaurant and I have recommended it to all of my friends and family. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet and the food is DELICIOUS. If you haven't already tried uptown you definitely have to! Hands down the best place to go for an overall positive experience. Thanks Uptown! :)
The Uptown Grill is a wonderful place to come for breakfast. The service is always quick and everyone is very friendly. There Benedict's are hard to beat, definitely a place to check out in Guelph! :)

Came in for a late breakfast on Saturday to try this place. Its a fairly small restaurant tucked a bit off the road so I almost drove by it, but it has some parking in the front and lots of spots behind the restaurant. its nothing fancy but a good comfortable place for breakfast. The staff was very nice and attentive. the food was very good. Too bad they don't have a 2 egg special like most places do but the food was very good.. their version of home fries, which are not so thinly sliced potatoes cooked and seasoned perfectly, were a pleasant surprise and something i have not had before. Ive tried thinner almost chip type fries, but their version is delicious. Also they dont have rye bread as an option, but they do have sourdough option which is the way to go. the 2 pancake breakfast is also very good.. not the best.. a bit doughy and thick and huge.. really huge portions.. but very good. Staff was very friendly and the food come out quickly. Great place, and highly recommend for a weekend breakfast out with family.
Great food. I love their breakfast. Service was terrific. I will definitely be going back. I have never had a bad experience here. It can be very busy on Sunday mornings so be sure to get there early. Just remember there is a reason why places that serve good food are always busy.....
Went for brunch. Friendly service, seated quickly, large portions at a good price point.While there were lots of entree choices, I liked that I could create my own omelet. My bf had a standard bacon and eggs breakfast, which he also enjoyed. The restaurant had a good flow of customers...but the seating arrangement was good for social distancing. Would certainly go back the next time we are in the area.
The service here is second to none. I rarely see a team of young girls work so hard and well together. The food is too notch and ownership will do their very best to accommodate any special requests. No I don't have any stake in this place lol. Nice clean place that always provides excellent service and value for your hard earned dollar. Simply put ...this place is Cheers without the alcohol... comfortable, friendly and will always want you back.

I have never been so happy as when I was eating the Belgian waffle with whipped cream, blueberries, and fruit preserves from Uptown Grill.
Tasty burger with crisp fresh lettuce and tomato. Would recommend to anybody that has not had a simple but tasty burger in a ling time.
