Review Planet Bean Coffee - Guelph

Always a great coffee. Here for the second time this week. I love the atmosphere, and especially love the many choices of single batch, single origin roasts!

We always pick up beans when visiting Guelph. Really great flavour.

I love this location. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and make a point to make conversation and get to know the regulars. It's spacious and a great place to study, relax, play a game, or read a book. It's always warm, too which I really appreciate! And the latte patterns are on point!

Great relaxing atmosphere and delicious lattes! Had the Lavender Grey Latte. Wasn't expecting it to be coffee-based (was thinking it was just a tea latte) but pleasantly surprised! Was delicous with a spoonful of honey. Fast service and friendly staff.

Dropped in here for a quick coffee with Phil Groff of Sustain Ontario before a meeting on food and nutrition strategy, and we felt we had to do the right thing and get our cuppa here. Right before our eyes, the server took the beans we chose and ground them, put them inside the filter and poured hot water to give each of us a piping fresh brewed coffee that couldn't be beat. Not a place to grab a hot drink before rushing out to your car, but a very pleasant place for excellent coffee and nice chat with knowledgeable staff. All while supporting a good cause!! Count me in!!

Good spot. Good selection for pour overs. Nice people running the business with character baristas. Some light roasts which can be hard to find in Guelph so take the opportunity to order one of the Ethiopian beans.

Comfortable space to relax with a book and enjoy great coffee. All 3 locations serve fair trade, organic coffee and have relaxed atmospheres where you can spend hours reading, working, or chatting with friends.

Lots of space. Bright. Friendly staff. Regularly have a vegan almond butter cookie and some vegan 'sorbetto' (sorbet × gelato, ask which flavours are safe). Sometimes have other vegan options, like a tart chocolate cherry cake loaf. Music is a bit holder than other places, but I like the selection. Has outdoor seating. I like their teas. Hit water refills. Has bike rack, a parking lot, and is wheel chair accessible. There washrooms are amazing - especially the one with the window. This place brings some much needed personality and humanity to the south end of Guelph.
