Wonderful place for just the two of us to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary dinner. Ambience and decor was wonderful, service beyond excellent-our server so attentive without being intrusive and the food was fantastic-from the presentation to the taste. This was definitely worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from St. Thomas �
After driving by for years saying “we really need to try it”, we finally did for my wife’s birthday. So glad we decided to. Friendly greeting as soon as we walked in, polite friendly waiter, fantastic food. Great ambience to go along with the meal. Would highly recommend
Everything about our meal and experience was amazing, from the appetizers to the cappuccino, the food was delicious! Best mushroom soup we've ever had! Would definitely go back and would highly recommend it.

This is my favourite restaurant around this area. The value for the service and meal you get I think is fabulous! We always get amazing service from the time we walk in, till they help us put our jackets on to leave. My meal this past weekend, no surprise, wonderful! Atmosphere as always extraordinary!
Great dinner with my family. Food was great and well presented. Service was excellent. They have a beautiful wine selection. Just ask as it is not on the regular menu. Prices are very fair. Thank you.
Went here as a group for a Christmas dinner. All the food was exceptionally good. The service between courses was a bit slow, but they were very busy. Recommend this place to anyone
We love it here! Nice warm welcome. So cozy beside the blazing fireplace. Fantastic ambiance! Food is tasty and presentation is lovely. Attention and service by staff is superb. A real treat, for sure :)
Just got home from another amazing to die for meal here. Aberfoyle mill sets the bar too high for any other restaurant - top quality meals, amazing staff and perfect ambiance. Thank you Peter for the animal balloons for my daughter and the rest of the staff for an always amazing dining experience!

Impeccable service, and some serious attention to detail on the food. This restaurant makes it a point to prepare the food with the highest of standards. We tried the NY Strip, and Filet Mignon -- they were properly seasoned and seared and served with a beautiful Au Jus. The best was the Pistachio Crusted Salmon. Each bite was a flavour bomb and everyone at the table tried a piece, and we're jealous -- it was that good. A place to come back again and again. Well done Aberfoyle Mill. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Excellent dining experience ! This was our first time here and will not be our last. Our server Victoria was amazing!! she was attentive, super friendly and made us feel very at home. The food was REALLY GOOD! Everything we had was delicious & probably one of the best meals I've had in a really long time. Not only was it cooked to perfection but they happily made some changes based on my requests and have a generously sized vegan/vegetarian menu selection. The ambiance of the place was warm and cozy. TWO THUMBS UP !!
We had dinner and all 3 of us enjoyed our meal. We started with the escargot and had the Rotini Pasta, Condit of Duck Leg, and Linguine Pasta for our main course. I ordered cheesecake for dessert and they added canfle because it was my birthday.

This was our first visit and it was date night. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and the service is impeccable. The food is very good. My husband had the prime rib and it melted in his mouth. He was very happy with his meal. The Caesar salad was delicious and the daily soup was flavourful. I wasn't blown away by my pasta dish (rigatoni) I had higher expectations for it. I did eat it all but would not order it again. A nice spot for a special occasion. It is quite pricey for a regular everyday meal.
Had a very nice dinner here. Ambiance is amazing. The server seemed a little annoyed when we came in but it was pretty busy and they got friendlier as it got less busy. Chicken supreme was good, perfectly cooked. My friend loved her vegetarian risotto. We had the carrot cake and chocolate cake for dessert and they were good, but not spectacular. The one thing that blew me away was the free bread! It was a really high quality baguette, unlike any other I've tasted. All in all a great dining experience, and I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer to eat outdoors.
Wonderful meal and truly rustic and unique setting. We didn't know you can bring your own wine and pay a corkage fee. Good to know for next time.
