This was my first time at The Wooly Pub and it was amazing.
My wife and I were looking for a family owned restaurant with good reviews.
Well, The Wooly Pub came up on the search and we decided to give it a try. What a great decision it was.
We wanted to seat and enjoy their awesome patio or terrace, but unfortunately it was windy and chilly for our two-year-old son. We were given a table inside and it was great as well.
Our food were delicious and we enjoyed very much our meal and the place itself.
Their craft beer selection is awesome.
We will definitely come back again.

So happy we were able to get a last minute table. Lovely atmosphere, the inside dining areas are nice and the outdoor back patio looks great! The staff was very friendly and helpful and they have a fantastic beer selection. We enjoyed the wings and the poutine was excellent. Would definitely go again!

One of my best friends, my daughter and I enjoyed a late lunch on their patio recently and we had the BEST time! We really enjoyed the fun, professional and attentive service we received by Ed and Adele. Our food was delicious and soul satisfying. I had the fish tacos which were yummy and the BEST sweet potato fries and iced tea I have ever had!
We totally felt comfortable in their patio and appreciated all the changes they had made to ensure everyone's good health and safety. We left there smiling and feeling like we had just spent a delightful afternoon with longtime friends! Thank YOU, Ed and Adele and all the hard working staff for all you do. You are THE BEST! I highly recommend this restaurant and am excited to return soon!

Nice vibe, good food. Went there late, had a nice pint of cider and a vegan apple pie which was really good, friend had the vegan brownie. Love how committed they are to sustainability too.

Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Missed our reservation by two hours but they still made me feel welcome. Eric was gracious, and Johnny was remarkably funny, attentive, and nice. Focaccia was good but the honey seemed unnecessary. Fancy toast, indeed!

We found the Wooly when we were hiding out from bad weather while camping near by. We were a 7-top walk in (with 3 kids) and the staff were very accommodating and friendly with the kids. They even had colouring pages and crayons available.
Great selection of local beer and cider on tap. The food was excellent, and the daily soup hit the spot to warm up on a chilly day. Loved learning about the sustainable practices they have in place to run a carbon-neutral restaurant!

Delicious food, a good selection of beers on tap and the staff are the nicest people ever! The location is cozy and very comfortable all year around with the patio and the house-like setting. My favorite place in Guelph to go have dinner or just drinks!

We went to the pub yesterday and there is 3 things that would make me come back. Shawn the server!!! This guy is one of the most amazing, funny, talented people I have met. We came from Victoria BC and this is by far the best service ever.

We love The Wooly's sweet potato fries! This place has a great vibe and is a hub in our community. I've gone on dates here. Held meetings here. It really is a neighbourhood meeting place. We love it!

Three words. Pork. Belly. Reuben. Absolutely phenomenal. Sweet potato fries were amazing. My boyfriend also said his burger was unreal. Ten out of ten would recommend. I imagine the rest of their menu is delicious. Also features a great beer selection.

I live just down the street from the Wooly and come here all the time for dinner, drinks or to sit at the bar and watch the game (one of the bartenders is a leafs fan). They have a wonderful patio in the summertime and cozy fireplaces in the winter.
I honestly cannot share enough praise. Their menu is delicious, local and hearty; their selection of beer is fantastic. The service is always knowledgeable and genuine. I have never had a problem with my food or speed of service. Portion sizes and prices are fair.
There is honestly no situation where someone could suggest the Wooly and I would say no. Keep up the wonderful work!

We went to the Wooly Pub yesterday while we were in Guelph for the day and after one of the most amazing lunches we've ever had, we realized we may have to make the hour long drive back to Guelph just to visit the Wooly Pub again! The scotch eggs (with their homemade mustard) were amazing, and their fresh cut fries were the best we've ever tasted. All the food we had was incredible! Highly recommended!

What a shame. What a real shame. A few years a go this place was amazing! However I went there yesterday, Canada Day. My friend and I waited exactly ONE HOUR. 6:35 to 7:35. No appetizers. No entrees. We were sipping on 2 glasses of water that never got refilled. The waiter never came over to the table, and made a point not to look at us. Is that how you treat a paying customer? I am appalled and a little disgusted.
