Review Charnwood Villa Tea Room - Goderich

Wonderful experience at Charnwood Villa Tea Room yesterday for a Bridal Tea. Our sandwiches, quiche and desserts were delicious and the Spearmint Tea was ......oh so yummy. Charnwood is beautifully decorated and offers a truly authentic 'Tea' experience. Pam , the owner of the Tea Room was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Pam for a perfectly delightful afternoon!

I highly recommend this tea house. The dining area is elegant. The food was delicious! And there was such a variety of things to eat too. The tea selections were delicious. Our lunch here was a wonderful way to start off our bachelorette weekend. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great experience, good food. We aren't tea drinkers, but we still enjoyed the pots we tried. The scones were the best I've ever tried, and the sandwiches (finger sandwiches rather than open faced, an accommodation we appreciated) were almost all devoured. The location was beautiful, easy to find, and had a wonderful atmosphere. We were the only ones there that day, but I think even if there were other guests, the way the place is set up, it wouldn't have been loud, or like a restaurant at all, really. It looked like they were in the middle of some construction outside. I'd love to return when the patio is finished, it looks like it'd be great for a short stroll.

I've had nothing but amazing experiences at this tea room, it's my favourite for birthdays and meeting with friends. I always feel like a princess when I'm here ^-^ Also, I am so happy at the level of research done with the opening of this tea house. It makes it so much more fun that it's called afternoon tea, not high tea, and that the etiquette lessons are put together with so much care!

Perfect way to visit with friends and family. Delicious food and quiant atmosphere. Will be back for high tea soon. Thanks Pam for a wonderful experience

My sister in law and I had tea and it was a wonderful experience. Although we declined to don any hats or tiaras there were many to choose from. The food was delicious and plentiful, as well there was a large variety of teas to choose from.

Had an amazing "tea" with my Yoga friends. Well done Pam. Loved the very fancy and delicious eats, and was in awe of our Victorian surroundings. Will return with more friends and family for any "occasion" I can think of. Keep up the excellent work.
