Review Sima Japanese Restaurant - Gibsons

Amazing. Everything about this place was great. The food, the service, and the ambiance. Large selection of food to choose from. They didn't have a lot of dine in customers but the phone was ringing off the hook. The food came really fast, portions were good, and the servers were friendly and professional. Will definitely come back when visiting Gibson.

Great service, quick and friendly. I get miso soup every Tuesday and Wednesday and it's delicious! My only issue is that I have been finding the soup tastes more watery lately, but other than that I love it. Definitely my favorite sushi place.

Good selection of dishes and good quality fish. Would definately recommend the Blue Ocean roll. Was a little disappointed by the red tuna tataki as it was quite frozen in the middle but overall still very good.

I was optimistic walking in and seeing the sushi chefs at work. Very disappointed with the quality and value of the nigiri 8 pc order. I've had more satisfying from a supermarket sushi counter.

Great local place, staff is friendly and kind. I did try the location in sechelt and found portions very small, will only go to Gibsons location. The gibsons location portions are great and service is top notch..

I've been buying sushi from them for years, and I've always been blown away by how delicious it is! There are lots of different kinds you can order, from the basic but yummy california roll, to the dynamic hell's gate role. Considering how full I feel after eating, I think it's well priced, unlike many others who review it. In terms of service, I've always been served quickly, and I've always had quality, well put together food. It's never been bad, but rather always delicious. If I had one complaint, it's that they open a little too late. In my opinion, I'd rather them open at 10-10:30am. That way, I could order a little earlier and bring some yummy sushi home an hour earlier. Sure, it's not too long of a wait but still.

Best sushi in the coast, and friendly staff. Great for lunch or dinner
