We had the pleasure of going to the Clandestin for supper a couple weeks back and overall had a good time. Despite this experience being good, I will not leave a 5-star review however for several reasons. The food: "creative cuisine" is always to be praised as it opens up new territories in recipes
How to the describe Le Clandestin?!? Over the top, dirty, dirty delicious food would probably sum it up best. • They offer an interesting wine selection as well as a small menu that changes on a regular basis. Some of the staples are the mac & cheese, tacos and different spins on crispy chicken sand
Eaten here about 10X. Every time the food has been really creative, fresh, perfectly cooked. The chef has wonderful wine recommendations to pair with your meal. I wish I could eat here more but don’t live in town. Thanks, Eric!
It's a hole in the wall and you wouldn't expect it, but they have amazing food. Their menu changes regularly. I had the kimchi pork poke bowl when we went. Very limited seating, but it was winter so no patio at the time. Quick service and friendly staff. Decor and bathroom could use some work.
Love the vibrant vibe. Small, cute restaurant with a great menu. There's fried chicken on many items in the menu for good reason - it is delicious! The mussels with fried chicken was spectacular. Fried chicken with apple fritter was divine too! Go, go, go!
A tiny little gem in old Hull. Went to celebrate with a friend and we were treated to a series of amazing small plates. Great wine options by the glass. You must try their spagaccini jenga- a real fun take of mozza sticks!
A lovely little place, great service with a smile and the food, simply amazing. I had the Cesar salad.with fried chicken. All paired with a lovely organic wine. Highly recommended.
Clandestin is great. I had the vegan poke bowl. My friends had the foie gras rhubarb French toast. I also had the frites they taste like dill pickles, so good. I had the stout on tap it was excellent but it has a high alcohol content. My friend is in the had the salmon poke bowl and another friend h
A great place to eat. The Clandestin’s chef, Eric, has a great talent combining flavours, textures and cuisines to create his own dishes. For me, the harmonies of flavours he achieves have always been a glad surprise: sweet, spicy, crispy, sour, umami!! This is a place for people who is open for n
Always the best food. Menu changes make sure you follow them on Instagram and Facebook to get the latest. Their beer selection is always awesome and have these unheard of often. Also great wines to pair their food with. And some non alcoholic beverages that are out of the ordinary
