The service was A plus and i mean A plus.. quite possibly the best service i have ever had anywhere.. the food was superb.. chicken shawarma and Moroccan chicken sandwich was amazing.. clean restaurant and washroom, i wish i could give them 6 stars... highly recommend

Amazing food, amazing service. Treated like family. Will go again, I'd recommend going with a group, and call in advance so they can setup everything prior to your arrival.

The sandwiches were okay at best; however, I have never had potatoes like these before. They were amazing! 10/10!

We ordered the chicken shawarma with garlic potatoes. I wonder if things would have been different had we not ordered delivery. I asked for beef for all of the shawarmas (we had 4 small sized ones), but all of them were chicken. In addition, we asked for spicy sauce mixed into all of them, but we didn't get that either. Luckily, the shawarmas itself tasted good so it's okay, I just wish we got what we had wanted to order.<br/><br/>The star of the show is the garlic potatoes. Crispy potatoes with a creamy garlic sauce to dip in, mmm!<br/><br/>Definitely not the worst place for shawarma. We ordered this meal because it was very late at night and were too tired to cook supper after coming back from an event.

Déception. Un vendredi, 18:30 et un seul client dans la salle à manger de l'ancienne Gazelle qui semblait avoir perdu le sourire d’ailleurs après avoir payer la facture... de 57 dollars pour deux adultes et un enfant de 4 ans sans avoir bu d'alcool (ils étaient musulmans) et moi je suis le deuxième au comptoir pour apporter. La Gazelle avait fermé parce que les clients se plaignaient de plus en plus de la nourriture trop chère et de mauvaise qualité. Les Délices d’Ali est ouvert depuis 4 ou 6 mois environ dans cet établissement maintenant. La nourriture est bonne (lorsqu'elle est manger à la maison) mais je sentais un malaise de la part du caissier, l'accueil était mitigé et tous semblait dépassé... c`est surtout moi qui mettait l’ambiance et puis j’ai décroché. Le cuistot semblait frustré et ce chicanait avec le proprio. Le business ne semble pas allez très bien. L'âme des Délices d'Ali semble s'être perdue depuis qu'il a déménagé de la rue St-Joseph ou il y avait un petit cachet Montréalais magrébin très sympathique et très intime. Il semble avoir transformé son nouvel emplacement en resto-rapide genre Shawarma et semble avoir tourné les coins rond par économie, il a même gardé beaucoup du mobilier de la Gazelle ce qui est dépriment et veillot. Même la hot de cuisine semble avoir été construite croche ou à la va-vite par un de ses chums. La concurrence est forte pour ce qui est du genre Shawarma et son pire concurrent est `Basman' sur St-Joseph pas très loin, il n'aura pas les reins assez solide pour continuer bien longtemps devant lui. Il aurait du continuer sa recette de plat marocain seulement. Ses affiches style resto-rapide me rebute. Je lui donne pas plus de 2 ans et il va fermer. Désolé mais mon constat est sans appel.

Fantastic!. I love food. A lot. I've eaten food all over the world, but rarely do I feel the need to talk about it. Les Delices d'Ali is a treasure in the heart of Geatineau's Hull sector. Fish, salads, couscous, pizza, kefta, merguez, chicken, lamb... I've tried every dish here and they're all extraordinary. Prices range from $8 for a lamb sandwich, rice and a salad, to $12 for a "table d'hôte" or a couscous. They only use the best cuts for the sandwiches. The couscous dishes are the real winner here though. Perfectly prepared, fluffy couscous with a righ variety of vegetables, caramalized onions, chick peas... the way couscous was meant to be prepared. Seriously, don't miss out on an opportunity to eat real Moroccan food. It's unbelievable. I've probably been 40 times.<br/><br/>****<br/><br/>Les Délices d'Ali c'est petit restaurant marocain extraordinaire au coeur du secteur Hull. C'est vraiment de la qualité. Les chefs sont fiers et n'utilisent que les meilleurs ingrédients. Le poisson, les salades, les couscous, les pizza, le kefta, la merguez, le poulet, l'agneau... tous les plats sont de 8-12$. C'est vraiment pas cher pour la qualité que vous recevez. Le couscous c'est vraiment la pièce de résistance. Une texture moelleuse avec une variété de légumes, poix chiches, oignons caramélisés... vraiment à ne pas manquer. Mais tous les plats sont bons. Ca fait probablement 40 fois que je fréquente ce restaurant.
